Folks will say student misbehavior is at root a parent problem. And that’s correct.

On the other hand, schools have students for a large part of the day. Schools can make a difference by setting strict and consistent behavioral rules, rules with consequences.

But administrators won’t do that. Rules and wokeness don’t go together.

So here we are.

The trouble is the ease at which “civil rights” lawsuits can be filed against schools when strict consequences are levied against behavior. There will be “desperate impact statistics “ between the demographic groups. The improve your behavior to improve your group statistics answer will not be allowed. “Desperate impact statistics “ a Ted Kennedy legal gift that keeps on giving! However let’s continue to worship the Kennedys.

Teachers have done it in the past. But in today’s litigious culture, administrators won’t permit it.

The authorities would send the child to prison except that’s already the purpose of the school.

Two teachers were stabbed during an assault that involved students during dismissal at a Harford County elementary school Tuesday.

Sigh. I went to elementary school in the 1950s and early 1060s. The thought that this would happen then is absolutely ludicrous.

Here are a few pictures from the school's web site. They bring back memories of my own school days and the days we spent as parents involved in our schools. I feel very sorry for the poor students, the teachers, the teachers who were wounded, and the district. We need to keep in mind they are just innocent kids and hard working teachers.

I would hire a private lawyer if I were one of those two teachers - I already know from experience the union won’t help - the admin will side with the parents who support the little felons.

This is a clear violation of a school’s first duty: Safety of its students and staff - they sure as hell repeat that often enough.

Hope both teacher prevail in court with enough to retire comfortably. The entire system needs to be held accountable.

So a child decided to stab two teachers. I guess the two teachers disrespected him (by asking him do his schoolwork), so he saw that in his culture, stabbings are the way to stop the disrespect, so he did it.

Is it them, Yogi?

The teachers should have been alert as soon as little Rashid said “You dissin’ me? YOU DISSIN’ ME?”.

I will always remember one day when I was in the 5th grade, sitting in the science classroom, and a cow-like female “student” tried to stab an elderly female teacher with a pencil.

Fortunately, a male teacher was present who thwarted the attack, the teacher wasn’t hurt, the “student” was dispatched to reform school, and was never seen again.

The “student” was larger and heavier that her classmates, indicating that she had been held back at least once.

Now “students” are promoted automatically regardless of their academic achievement and behavioral history. To do otherwise would be considered racist and the teacher would suffer rather than the “student”.

I heard of the story but didn’t know where the school was. It’s 2 miles from my house in a very nice and somewhat trendy city called Havre de Grace, MD. Certainly now where you’d expect such a crime to occur.
