Police bodycam footage shows the moment law enforcement arrived to the track meet to arrest Karmelo Anthony after he fatally stabbed Austin Metcalf.
"This is the alleged suspect," a police officer said during the arrest.
"I'm not alleged. I did it," Karmelo Anthony told the police officer.

Grisly photos released of Karmelo Anthony’s victim Austin Metcalf’s wound, a bloody coat and murder weapon
the victims family needs to sue the murderers family and take all that money they raised back from them
If this isn’t an open and shut case for a hanging,I don’t know what is.
The only sane thing to do to a rabid animal is to put him down. In this case, hopefully prison justice will do the job.
I’m sure this young man thought he was tough.
When he gets to prison, I’m sure he’s going to meet a lot of dudes who are far tougher than he is. He’s going to learn some life lessons in prison.
I’ve watched this video earlier. As a former member of law enforcement, I’m wondering if anyone had bothered to frisk Anthony prior to escorting him along the fence and out of the stadium area to cuff him. The only attempted frisk I see of him is after he’s been cuffed, and seated on the ground. That’s not a thorough search. You can see that Anthony still has something in his left pocket. The cop doesn’t appear to even want to know what it is. Anything he had in his pockets should have already been confiscated and bagged.
According to the comments in the article Caramelo had been suspended for bringing a knife to school and wasn’t even supposed to be at the meet. He bought another knife and went looking for a fight. And he turned down a 10-year plea deal because if he took it his parents would have had to return the go-fund-me money they had already spent. They sold him like a slave.
Black lives matter.....except to other blacks..............
I don’t think they did...........

Thank you, I noticed that as well. I remember “poor or incomplete search” as one of the 10 deadly sins I was taught. The officer was lucky it didn’t result in him not going home to his family that day. Complacency kills.
Thanks. I’ve never seen that before.
All it takes is one time of being complacent on the job, and it could cost you your life. I've been retired for 23 years, and I'm still very security conscious.
And 12 of the witnesses against him were black.

Let’s hope so. And, unlike with this tragic incident, he won’t be the only one with a weapon. Stabbing someone without any warning is a prison specialty.
So true. This kid thought he was a gangsta but now he’s going to meet the real thing.
I hope Kamelo rots in prison.
“the victims family needs to sue the murderers family and take all that money they raised back from them”
It worked for Ron Goldman’s civil suit vs. OJ Simpson.
