Sounds great, until you realize that there are no more Steak and Shakes left.
The nearest one to here is 50+ miles away!..............

Quite true. They are generally not as convenient as the other fast food burger chains.
However, it has always been my favorite compared to the more common alternatives. It also has a lot of nostalgic appeal to me. It was “the” burger joint in my high school days.
When I lived in OR Jack In the box restaurant would give you a free Jumbo Jack if the U of OR won a football game. You did have to buy a drink and a small fry.

So what happens if they have to pay up and run out of supplies? Seems to me that in this era of mobs being hair-triggered to riot, it could be a very dangerous place to be. Silly promotion that loses money.
Their milkshake is typically $6.00. No thanks.

My last visit to that place was just after they cleansed themselves of their human staff and replaced them with touchscreen kiosks that don’t detect my fingers.

The US team looks like an NBA team, all black except for one white.
So what. They won their first game and they’re ahead 2-0 today. There’s lots of black guys playing in this event.
