‘Ted Cruz Is Lying Thru His Teeth’: Don Jr. Unloads on Father’s Ally
Mediaite ^ | June 17, 2026 | Kathryn Wilkins

Posted on 06/17/2026 5:48:33 PM PDT by Miami Rebel

On Wednesday via X, Donald Trump Jr. alleged that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) — an ally of President Donald Trump — is “lying thru his teeth” with his recent comments on the administration’s memorandum of understanding with Iran.

Speaking with The Daily Wire on Wednesday, Cruz said of the deal to end the conflict in the region:

What has been released so far suggests that, unfortunately, the president is getting, I think, very poor advice when it comes to this deal. History teaches that giving billions of dollars to theocratic lunatics who want to murder us is a bad idea. Under the terms of what’s been released, somewhere between $10 billion and $30 billion will flow to the Ayatollah immediately before they make even a single nuclear concession.

I think that’s ill-advised. That money, if it goes to the Ayatollah, will go to fund terrorists trying to kill Americans and weapons that will be used to try to kill Americans. And it also appears to formalize a permanent role for the Islamic regime controlling the Strait of Hormuz. It is difficult to see what possible benefit to America could come from that.

He continued:

Donald Trump Jr. @DonaldJTrumpJr

The only problem with this quote is that @tedcruz is lying thru his teeth about the deal. We're not giving them a cent and he knows that. Using fake news about the peace deal to undermine @realDonaldTrump is the opposite of MAGA.

Benjamin Domenech @bdomenech

"Nearly one thousand Americans have been murdered by the Ayatollah and the mullahs... It is not remotely in America’s interest for us to pay to rebuild that capacity that we just took out." - @tedcruz @realDailyWire dailywire.com/news/instant-r…

“If Trump was stopping that debacle so that he wins the midterms, it tells us something.”

1) Trump is NOT on the ballot this fall so he can’t lose, you know that. Add in the worthless pack of Congressional RINOs that hasn’t done a damned thing since the BBB, the elections this fall have already been lost before the bombardment of Iran took place. Not because a perceived error in judgement from President Trump but because of worse than a worthless Congress.

2) The turnout will be pathetic in November as the GOPe hasn’t given a reason to draw out voters, adding a couple trillion to the national debt is the only thing they have done. So Trump acted essentially alone and here we are.

3) Some of us remember it like yesterday when Iran took our Americans hostages for 444 days until Reagan was elected, they are finally getting a payback. Good thing many of us are not the President else we still be bombing them until the last firecracker is used up.

I'm reluctant to stand up for Cruz, but his comment was 100% accurate: Iran will reap hundreds of billions from this settlement.

Even without a cent from us. E.U. nations have already announced they will drop all sanctions and freezes, and the Gulf states are happy to pay Iran ransom.

I’m an America First Jacksonian. Fight EmWars to win and destroy the enemy or don’t fight them at all.

Something we haven't managed to do since 1945.

I voted for the Donald Trump who campaigned for more than a decade against these stupid Middle East wars. I’m baffled about what motivated him to move forward with this latest fiasco in February

“we will blow them up again in due time”

The War Powers Resolution prohibits Trump from such actions and mandates that he remove the forces in the area added for his operations against Iran.

Trump is toothless tiger.

Israel is the only country with both the ability and will to deal with the Iranian problem.

Israel, using proven Ukrainian methods, can take out Iran’s oil industry and nitric acid plants. Iran would have to sell art, antiques and European mansions to pay for fertilizer imports.

Ukraine uses drones, and so would Israel. Israeli operators wouldn’t have to leave their air-conditioned rooms in Israel.

Trump should turn negotiations and military maneuvers over to Israeli experts and help a few Republicans win reelection.

I remember well. You can thank Carter for that.

We do not know all the reasons as to why he thinks this is best. But he does, People need to cut the whining. If Iran acts up, he can always hit them again

Sick of the know nothing know it alls.

Iran was beginning work on a new enrichment complex invulnerable to bunker busters.

“I’m baffled about what motivated him to move forward with this latest fiasco in February...”

You are always baffled.

Trump made it plain throughout the years that Iran would not be allowed to develop a nuclear bomb. They have been urgently trying and were well on the way to success.

He made it plain that this war was to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear bomb.

He made it plain it was not about regime change.

Now, they don’t have the ability to develop a nuclear bomb.

Since they are all a bunch of snakes, they will have to be watched certainly.

Do you need any more help?

“If Iran acts up, he can always hit them again”

(b) Within sixty calendar days after a report is submitted or is required to be submitted pursuant to section 4(a)(1), whichever is earlier,
the President shall terminate any use of United States Armed Forces with respect to which such report was submitted (or required to be submitted),
unless the Congress
(1) has declared war or has enacted a specific authorization for such use of United States Armed Forces,
(2) has extended by law such sixty-day period, or
(3) is physically unable to meet as a result of an armed attack upon the United States.

Such sixty-day period shall be extended for not more than an additional thirty days
if the President determines and certifies to the Congress in writing
that unavoidable military necessity respecting the safety of United States Armed Forces
requires the continued use of such armed forces in the course of bringing about a prompt removal of such forces.

If one of the Iranians gives Trump a golf ball, Trump can whack it. It’s the only Iranian thing Trump would be able to whack.

WIKI

A fission-based “atomic” nuclear weapon uses a fissile material to cause a nuclear chain reaction. The most commonly used materials are uranium 235 (235U) and plutonium 239 (239Pu). Both uranium 233 (233U) and reactor-grade plutonium have also been used. The amount of uranium or plutonium needed depends on the sophistication of the design, with a simple design requiring approximately 15kg of uranium or 6kg of plutonium and a sophisticated design requiring as little as 9kg of uranium or 2kg of plutonium.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran_nuclear_deal

[I’m just quoting. Determining the critical mass of U235 is beyond both my physical and financial capability.]

Trump’s raids destroyed the enrichment facilities, not the stockpile(s) of highly enriched uranium. The enriched uranium could be made into bombs with a fraction of the previous effort.

Iran said it moved the enriched uranium before the bombings.

“’Up to 60 percent of enriched uranium is still stored in tunnels in Isfahan, allowing Iran to produce a nuclear bomb in a short period of time,’ says Rafael Grossi, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency.”

“At the outbreak of Operation Rising Lion in June 2025, Iran possessed 440.9 kg of uranium enriched to 60 percent, which would allow it to produce 10 nuclear bombs in a short time.”

https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/423681

CNN has claimed the Iranians recently sealed the tunnels where it is stored to prevent quick access (to be able to say they couldn’t give it up quickly even if they wanted to).

It might probably but not certainly be diluted with depleted UF6 by bombing.

Everybody is "theocratic", it's just a matter of who their "theo" is.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
