‘We’re in a nightmare’: Karmelo Anthony’s parents speak as son files appeal

“We’re in a nightmare. It doesn’t feel real,” said Anthony’s parents in their first interview following the verdict with Mimi Brown on The Breakfast Club. “We’ve been up all night crying and praying.”

“We didn’t know how cruel the world could be,” Karmelo Anthony’s father, Andrew Anthony, said. “We did everything we were advised and told to do, and look what happened.”

Guaranteed that the same people who said Zimmerman wasn’t justified for shooting Martin as Martin as on top of him, slamming his head into the concrete, will ALSO say that Anthony WAS justified for killing his victim for being pushed after being asked to leave a place he wasn’t supposed to be in.
