One of the rodeo riders whose horse was stabbed over the weekend in a Las Vegas barn said Tuesday she came “face-to-face” with the teenage suspect charged with attacking her mare and two other horses.
Arielle Phillips told NBC News she was in a stall with her horse, Detail, late Friday night when the 17-year-old “came by twice to try and make conversation by asking me weird questions.”

Not much news to report other than the Clark County Prosecutor is seeking to charge the young lady (17yo) as an adult for multiple crimes relating to animal abuse.
The horses she stabbed are alive, and mostly in good shape. They will not be able to compete in the near future. Some will never be able to compete in barrel racing for the rest of their lives.

They aren’t releasing it because she’s a minor. But she may be charged as an adult, and then we’ll know.
Her name, along with her face pic is very likely to be uploaded online. Too many people will be appalled and disgusted by what this girl did. Others should know who she is to beware of her around their animals.

There were cameras in the stables. That’s how they identified this girl.
The reason she doesn’t have a name is because she is 17 years old, considered a minor in Nevada.
I’m sure her name will come out soon. The county prosecutor wants to try her as an adult.
All she had left to do was “transition” to a boy and she would have ready for the serial killer Olympics
The sort of person who would harm an animal in this fashion isn’t very far from harming a human person in the same ... or worse ... fashion.
when you do an adult crime, your name should be published. Utter bullshit that this girl is being protected.
I went to an ag college. Fresno State. My buddy went to another ag college, UC Davis. Horse girls, without exception, are insane.

I am laughing. You're not wrong. They live on the fine line on the Hot/Crazy matrix. There are exceptions.
Competitive female equestrians are the most vicious and vindictive women you will ever meet. Whether rodeo or steeplechase.
But none of them would ever stab a horse. That's beyond the pale.
