It's Pride Month again, making this the perfect time of year to see what inspirational passages can be found in God's Word that pertain to the subject.
Kick your pride up a notch and pass these comforting verses on to the gays in your life:
1. Genesis 19:24-25: "Then the Lord rained on Sodom and Gomorrah sulfur and fire from the Lord out of heaven. And he overthrew those cities, and all the valley, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground."
2. Leviticus 18:22: "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination."
3. Leviticus 20:13: "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them."
4. Job 35:12: "There they cry out, but he does not answer, because of the pride of evil men."
5. Proverbs 8:13: "The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate."
6. Proverbs 16:18: "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall."

9. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10: "Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."
10. James 4:6: "But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, 'God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.'"
11. Jude 1:7: "Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire."
12. 1 John 2:16-17: "For all that is in the world — the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life — is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever."

what is amazing is how many people I have heard say... the bible doesn’t really condemn homosexuality!

The truth is, many things in the bible are open to interpretation. Homosexuality is not one of them. In fact it is only of the clearest cut issues in the bible when it comes to it being a sin.

Since pride was the downfall of Lucifer, it only stands to reason that homosexuals and baby murderers would be “proud” also.

The Bible, like our Bill of Rights, is clear, concise and easy to understand. It takes at least three full years of law school to justify misinterpreting either.

Christians should not be surprised that unbelievers in the world hate them. It follows a pattern seen in the world since Cain murdered Abel.

This is a parody site. But you would be amazed at what you hear in “mainline” churches and Reform synagogues. I was at a friend’s son’s bar mitzvah and his speech - endorsed and coached by the rabbi - was about how the rainbow that appeared to Noah after the Great Flood was a symbol of LGBTQ+ tolerance. I’ve heard similar things when I’ve had the occasion to be in a mainline church (usually in a liberal white urban area) on a Sunday. They say exactly what is written here and it most definitely isn’t parody.
I’ve heard the Noah’s rainbow thing before.
Just another attempt at tearing down Christianity.
God will not be mocked.
It’ll get handled by HIS will in HIS timing.
