Except none of that is jobs. All those things are built to not need people, and in the case of the AI data centers, make lots of other businesses not need people. Companies are going to make a lot of money. PEOPLE are not.
Data Centers do require some people, but its not just data centers. There will also be a lot of power plants built to support them and there are a lot of factories being built too.
A lot of “ that” is jobs.
You need to do more reading about the manufacturing and industrial projects actually being invested
Boeing Aircraft sales, US steel industry partnership with Japan, huge LNG project investment in TX by Qatar, more oil and gas energy flowing and more infrastructure needed to deliver and distribute it, more refineries, more auto manufacturing back in US, new US Navy CNO committed to Trumps goal of ship building in the US
Some of it is turning into jobs. The head of Needham small-cap stock fund was on CNBC yesterday saying this is the best environment for small business that he’s seen in his 35 years. Their fund was up 74% in the past year. All this huge AI cap spending is rolling down to smaller businesses who make things, and they are hiring plenty.
I think this article is right. We’re just now starting to see the impact of a ton of investment. We’re just now at the phase where hiring really picks up. The next year or two are going to be incredible.
