Remember when everyone thought Ferrari was cool? Not anymore.
Yes, even the manufacturer who once furnished Magnum P.I. with his sweet red convertible has gone electric.
Here's a video announcement of the car if you want to see the fine details:
Needless to say, the internet was not universally excited by the electric Ferrari reveal.
Who wouldn't want to shell out (checks notes) $640,000 for an electric sports car? Don't worry, though. This model is sure to die a quick death and be relegated to the dustbin of automotive history.
On a positive note, this toy-looking electric Ferrari is almost certainly a sign that we're in the end times.
Come quickly, Lord!

Congratulations...that is without a doubt THE most common sense thing I’ve ever seen you post.....try and keep it up
The market will dictate its success of course. Not for the general public basd upon price. Its for Russian Oligarchs, Criminal Overloads and the Obscenely Rich that need to be seen.
It isn’t as bad as the Jaguar rebranding ad but it’s close. If it goes away and quickly forgotten perhaps the damage to the Ferrari brand will be minimal. Time will tell as always.
“this toy-looking electric Ferrari”
More powerful and a drag coefficient lower than any prior roadgoing Ferrari.
One of the many problems with EVs is they can be a menace to people other than the owners.
Last year one caught fire in the parking garage at the airport in my city, eventually burning up half the cars on that level.....not to mention millions in damage to the parking structure.
It doesn’t look at all like an Italian sports car, let alone a Ferrari. It could pass for a Kia or Honda.
Charging your new Ferrari Luce...
Charging your old Apple Mouse...
Is it the front of a Ferrari or the rear of a Porsche?
I know a couple that are both real gear heads.
When it comes to automobiles the wife has a hard and fast rule:
“Never trust a car with no grill”.
AMEN Lol!
The problem is you can't get them without battery packs.
Locomotives solved electric power train diesel generator hybrids decades ago.
DumocRats want to ban what they don't like. Mandate that which they like.
Hilarious 😁
Contemporary CEOs seem to hate their customers, methinks WEF/Private Equity/MBA types have installed them to destroy their companies.
My daughter drives a small EV made by Chevrolet. It is fantastic vehicle for commutes to stores and work if not more than 20 miles away. It is 10 times more quite than ICE cars, requires no oil changes and tune ups, No stops at gas stations ever. She can charge the car in her garage.
When it comes to blue I am of the opinion that the darker the better........especially on cars.
The new Ford bronco sport is offered in what I’d call baby blue with white accent stripes.....so hideous it’s actually difficult to look at.
As a public service, would you post a picture of something that is $640,000 good looking?
Nothing wrong with it... but nothing right with it either.
Someone with photoshop skills should mock it up: The F-150 as a Ferrari-150…. Lamborghini used to make tractors, how about Ferrari make some trucks!
I can see that as one use case: as a step up for a young girl too old for a bike and not ready for a car.
Oh, please explain why you would ban electric, when ICE cars get into fires 120 times more commonly. Sure, those battery packs are very difficult to put out, but is one battery-pack fire more of a problem than 120 regular car fires?
No way, no how should government ban ICE vehicles, but demanding a ban on EVs? How nonsensical, how hypocritical!
