I've lived in KY-04 my entire life and closely follow the election results here. There is no way that the turnout legitimately doubled. This was election fraud carried out by the highest levels of our state & federal governments.

Massie had a bunch of 28 year olds out on a Tuesday night in an off-year Election.
They looked just like the paid ICE protesters.
I thought the rules were anybody that questioned an election were thrown in jail. It’s Insurrection.
Maybe it was a CONTESTED PRIMARY with LOTS OF BUCKS and LOTS OF ADVERTISING involved, so the turnout increased from 8% to 16%.
Or, as Babylon Bee reported, all the ‘covert Jews’ in his district finally voted.

Anyone who's worked in politics (as I have) knows this to be 100% factually true:
The easiest and fastest way to beat somone, is do it in the primaries. They're typically low turnout races and energizing a base to get them to the polls is key to doing it.
Massie lost. He also made it easy to vote against him with his anti-Israel / anti-Jew statatements.
If there's one thing Kentucky voters know, and know well, it's their Bible. Hating Israel / being anti-Jew isn't in the Bible and God has a long, long history of punishing those who are.
Maybe it’s as simple as the golden Trump endorsement.

I used to live in KY-04 and now sit just one county over on the line. Monday night I spoke with friends and family who told me they were eager to be at the polls at 6 a.m.—specifically to vote against Massie.
In a district that gave Trump roughly 65% in 2016, 2020, and 2024, this shouldn’t surprise anyone. When KY voters see an incumbent as disloyal to the president who dominates the district, it’s a heck of motivator to show up. Massie lost this seat the moment he started openly and repeatedly clashing with Trump.
