From October 2022 to February 2025, the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center released more than a thousand deportable illegal immigrants onto the streets in direct defiance of over 1,150 immigration detainers lodged with local officials, according to ICE records obtained by the CIS.
In terms of noncompliance, the CIS reported that Fairfax County, over that period, outpaced many other uncooperative facilities of much larger U.S. cities, including San Francisco County Jail at No. 9 with 462 declined detainers, Minnesota's Hennepin County Jail at No. 11 with 363, and New York City’s Rikers Island at No. 16 with 237.

This is why I think the “20-30 million illegal aliens” number is an absolute lie. I’d put it at 40-50 million+.
I think 40-50 is even low
And yet the feds do nothing to penalize Fairfax County by withholding funds or any other action. They keep doing these releases because they know full well there is no action the feds will take to correct their actions.
Not surprised. When I lived in NoVA (over 20 years ago), if you went to the ER, it was filled with illegals. Likewise, lots of houses were rented by illegals with 10-20 people per house.
The MSM used the 12M number for illegals for like 25 years. And they did it with a straight face.

Start arresting the State officials for their violations of Federal laws. This nonsense will stop.

There are 8 million illegal immigrant crime stories in the Naked Immigrant state.
This has been one of them.

I lived in NoVA 1981-1994.
It had lots of immigrants, but they weren’t problematical.
It went back to look at my old house in Reston circa 2010.
Some immigrants were gathered in a pedestrian underpass, one was relieving himself.
What is more shocking is that Fairfax County was like Florida now claims to be.
My part of Florida now looks demographically like the Fairfax County I left.
When I was much younger, the Chinese restaurant my mother and I ate here in Florida at was run by Caucasians.
Looks like these places are fertile ground for aggressive NICE scrutiny.
Next question. How many vote?
That mean more than 20% of all people there are illegal.
It was 20-30 million before Biden opened the door for 4 long years.
Interesting, but it doesn’t show changes in illegal immigrant population. Am I missing something?
