Slap-re bleu! French President Emmanuel Macron was slapped by his wife during a foreign trip last year after she found a steamy message from a younger actress on his phone, according to sensational claims in a new book.
Brigitte Macron’s viral attack on her husband — which was caught on cameras — was a result of the steamy messages allegedly sent between her former student, 48, and Iranian-born Golshifteh Farahani, 42, journalist Florian Tardif claimed in an interview with RTL France.
“I find you very pretty,” President Macron told Farahani, in one of the messages, according to Tardif, whose book, “An (Almost) Perfect Couple,” was published Wednesday. Farahani, who is known to be a staunch critic of the regime in Tehran, allegedly kept up a “platonic relationship” with Macron for several months, reported Le Parisien.

In “Open” marriages, people are free to have affairs. My friend from Italy told me all about it. MD. PhD, not a dumb woman,
“Ernesto and I can hardly wait to get married so we can start having affairs.”
I almost fell on the floor.
But it gets better.......Her very distinguished father from Rome was visiting her in San Francisco where she was completing her education. She brought him over to meet me. “I hope you like him, I knw he’ll like you. You two should have an affair.”
I was SHOCKED.
That was 20 years ago. I wouldn’t be shocked today..
Are we sure it was not from an actor? President Macron had been photographed getting chummy with young black men. I was going to post a picture of that, but I didn’t want to make anyone throw up.

In my time I heard two older women say “Nobody want’s an old lady”. It was sad to hear that. Might apply here. In those 2 instances one is my ex. The good news is she’s married now. No need to keep in touch.
This is usual and expected for French Presidents. It’s a resume enhancer. There were rumors about Giscard’s affairs. Mitterand had a secret family and illegitimate daughter. Sarkozy left his 2nd wife for an actress. Hollande left his 2nd live-in partner for another (much younger) actress. Prime Minister Jospin left his wife for Derrida’s ex-lover. I don’t know about Chirac or Pompidou, but de Gaulle’s wife let him get away with nothing.
Golshifteh Farahani co-starred with Adam Driver in a movie. Driver was Lena Dunham’s on-screen boyfriend in her show. Maybe Lena turned Macron down.
Macron doesn't want any lady, young or old.
I believe it was Benjamin Franklin that disagreed and advised to spend more time appreciating them for a number of reasons.

Ah yes. Ben Franklin was a ladies man. We should all wish to be so talented. He had stature over the rest of us-a good start. Wealth helps. Did he get around? I’m not a historian.
