HOUSTON, Texas (WKRC) - A constable's office is facing criticism from community members and social media users after posting a mugshot in connection with an arrest.
According to a statement issued by Harris County Constable Precinct 2 on Facebook, 28-year-old Fant Jomecia was taken into custody after she allegedly attempted to enter an apartment without permission.
Authorities said deputies responded to an apartment complex at 8625 Winkler Drive in Houston, Texas after receiving a report of a suspicious person. Per the statement, management reportedly noticed Jomecia jumping from a balcony in an attempt to enter an apartment unit without the owner's consent.
Deputies located Jomecia at the scene, and she was taken into custody without incident, per the post. Authorities contacted the Harris County District Attorney's Office, which accepted a charge of criminal trespass.
Jomecia was taken to the Harris County Jail, where was booked without incident, authorities wrote.
Several commenters on the Facebook post voiced criticism due to the circumstances of the mugshot.
"She absolutely shouldn’t be touched. If a person doesn’t cooperate they stay in holding & possibly get disorderly conduct charges," one user wrote.
"I'm very disturbed by this picture. I don't like the force by the officer holding her aggressively like that. It's not necessary. If she doesn't want to cooperate, place her alone until she's ready to do so. But, do not forcefully do it. Not okay, ever. She's a human being. No matter what she is accused of," another wrote.
"Prime example of how people are treated in Harris county there is no reason for her hand to be on her face like that," another user chimed in.

I doubt they'd say those things if that cutie pie was burglarizing their home.
“Per the statement, management reportedly noticed Jomecia jumping from a balcony in an attempt to enter an apartment unit without the owner’s consent.” When a person is in that state maybe the officer just didn’t want her to tip over.
Next time just duct tape her to the wall to get her to stand still for her mug shots.
Let me guess...”Face the camera.” She refused. She was grabbed and made to face the camera. She looked up at the ceiling in a final act of defiance. I can only imagine the attempt to fingerprint her. Scenes of John Rambo in First Blood spring to mind.
They should taze her until she decides to cooperate. It could take hours, so multiple officers should be lined up ready to step and taze.
If you suffer from Fant Jomecia, it may require a round of very strong antibiotics to clear up. Consult your physician.
These SAME whiners would cry if they HAD kept Jamaica in a holding tank, until she decided to behave.
She could’ve died in a holding tank. Then what, whiners?
These Karens need to sit the h3ll down and shaddup.
LOL ... or, staple her hair to the wall.
Won’t look at camera? Find out.
No telling what all Jamaica had in her system.
If you’re ever in Houston
Well, you better do right
You better not gamble
There, you better not fight, at all
Or the sheriff will grab ya
And the boys will bring you down
The next thing you know, boy
Whoa, you’re prison bound

Add it to the rouge's gallery.
All the onlookers are pussies. Take the picture and get on with it.
Meh! You kids with your flower power and poodle skirts wouldn't remember.

Not if you end up in Fleishman’s court. He talks big, then lets everybody out on a PR bond. The DA there is just as bad; almost everybody gets probation. Some other judges, just the opposite.

That’s exactly right.
This is ridiculous, get the snapshot for the check in and when her mood improves or before she is let out, get a better one.
Cops deal with a lot of crazies and drunks, and stoners, and suicidals, they deal with everything and sometimes they have to use a little bit of male force to handle them, pretending everything is over the line is a tactic, it only weakens the search for real beatings and real abuses.
Body contact is a main part and function of policing.
The media is the force behind this long term political/racial propaganda campaign.
