Seriously though; if Iran’s theocratic regime is purposely creating an environmental disaster affecting the planet while we have the means to stop it then it’s our moral obligation to do so.

Maybe the administration should offer to take their crude oil, transport it, and refine it, but only in order to prevent them from dumping it into the sea. We keep the products and the money. They get to save their wells.
So, oil floats on top of the water. And oil is flammable. If this oil were to burst into flame, that could certainly provide a deterrent to ships getting near that island. Right?

I am with you. Before I will get excited about this, I would like to see other reports instead of someone unknown person posting some questionable sort of video on X.
As is typical, Grok will “evolve” as more info becomes available. Grok now says maybe intentional dumping, maybe a large spill. If these spills repeat, the answer will become more clear. It’s also possible it was done as a message, as this slick will end up on the shores of the GCC countries (my guess, not GROKs).
Bottom line is, there is no evidence either way at this point.
If there is news about Iran running into well issues and it comes out before news about the other countries running into well issues, then the story is immediately suspect.
