Judge apologizes to Trump WHCD alleged shooter after he complained about mediocre jail conditions
Daily Mail ^ | 5-4-26 | Philip Nieto

Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui slammed attorneys during a Monday afternoon court hearing over the conditions of Allen's imprisonment. Allen was placed on suicide watch when he was first jailed.

'At a minimum I should be apologizing to him. We are obligated to make sure he’s taken care of. Mr. Allen, I’m sorry that things have not been the way they are supposed to,' the judge said.

Faruqui went on to compare Allen's imprisonment to defendants arrest for rioting at the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

'To me, it’s extremely disturbing that he was put in five-point restraints, a person with no criminal history,' Faruqui added. 'It’s troubling. I never heard of one Jan. 6 defendant who was put in five-point restraints or in a safe cell. If the only way to keep him safe is the most punitive thing, that’s a problem.'

If Allen had not been stopped he might have killed President Trump, Mrs. Trump, several Cabinet officers, and possibly VP Vance.

Looks like the judge is trying to create a justification for releasing Allen. After all, he didn't kill anyone.

Seems like an attempt to kill the commander in chief ought to land one in military prison - especially during wartime.
Not in front of some sand ni@@er judge

Allen will never be convicted by a DC jury. Attempting to kill the president is considered a mitigating circumstance by most of the DC juror pool.

I never heard of one Jan. 6 defendant who was put in five-point restraints or in a safe cell.

Maybe, but I do know one who was shot for no good reason and never got an apology. Well, her surviving relatives because she was dead after that.

and you know what, the judge looks a little queer to me. Maybe he’s attracted to the defendant so he’s going easy on him you know? I bet that’s something to think about.

They have GOT to be working overtime to get this mental case of a judge off of this case.

Could someone list a few of the atrocious things done to J6 people? I’m not knowledgeable but remember one or two of several.

“Several January 6th Capitol riot defendants have reported being held in solitary confinement (or “the hole”) in DC jail, with notable cases including John Strand, who served four months in solitary and cited restrictions on communication and support. Strand described conditions as “mental torture”.

Summary story in The Washington Times.

And the judge may have forgotten the unarmed and non-menacing Ashley Babbitt, shot and killed by Michael Byrd.
We haven’t.
Note: The Department of Justice (DOJ) and USCP concluded the shooting was lawful, as Byrd was protecting members of Congress during the riot.

Well maybe he should tell Mr. Allen that he should have thought about what prison would be like before he made his deranged decisions to try and take out Trump and everyone else. This is pathetic.

Mediocre conditions? Where does he think he is? Waldorf Astoria?

Slam the bastard into a 6’ x 6’ cell with a hole in the floor and the thermostat set to 50°. Let him bellyache some more.
