Hundreds of beagles rescued from Ridglan Farms

Hundreds of beagles have started leaving Ridglan Farms in the United States, marking the beginning of a large rescue operation.

The first vans carrying dogs left the facility in Wisconsin on Friday. Rescue groups say it will take at least 10 days to move all the animals to shelters and organisations across the country.

Around 300 dogs were transported on the first day. In total, about 1,500 beagles are expected to be released as part of the agreement.

Ridglan Farms has been operating for more than 60 years. It breeds beagles for use in scientific and medical research. In recent years, former workers and activists raised concerns about conditions at the facility.

Fauci should get the beagle treatment. If he survives that, put him in the woodchipper feet first.

Fauci should hang by his heels over a pit viper farm.

Unfortunately these animals are likely to not make good pets. They are likely severely inbred with little or no concern for genetic problems or temperament.

They have been specifically bred for research, as you say.

Many people are unable to use reason to overcome emotions, especially about cuddly looking dogs.

What about the suffering the research, using these dogs, is likely to prevent in humans?

Out of sight, out of mind.

Millions of dogs are killed every year because people are not responsible with their pets.

Arguments Debunking “Animal Research Saves Lives”Low Success Rate in Human Trials: A widely cited statistic by opponents is that roughly 90%–95% of drugs that pass animal tests subsequently fail in human clinical trials, according to Cruelty Free International and the Los Angeles Times.

Critics argue this high failure rate indicates that animal models are not predictive of human outcomes, making them a poor and unethical tool for developing human treatments.

Physiological Differences: Opponents, such as the American Anti-Vivisection Society, emphasize that significant differences in anatomy, metabolism, and genetics between animals and humans mean that results cannot be reliably applied to human conditions. For example, a drug that is safe in rats may still be toxic to humans.

“Reproducibility Crisis” and Misconduct: Reports indicate that a large percentage of preclinical studies, including animal research, cannot be reproduced, reducing their scientific value. Documented cases of scientific misconduct, such as falsifying animal data, have further damaged the credibility of studies.

Rise of Alternatives: Critics argue that funding and research should be directed away from animals toward “human-relevant” alternatives, such as 3D organ-on-chip technology, organoids, and computer simulations, which they argue can offer faster and more accurate results.Historical Missteps: Some anti-vivisection proponents argue that certain breakthroughs were actually delayed by misleading animal studies, or that some advancements were made despite a lack of foundational animal testing.

Followup from 2022 Virginia rescue of 4000 beagles
In 2022, nearly 4,000 beagles were rescued from an Envigo breeding and research facility in Cumberland, Virginia, after investigations revealed severe animal welfare violations. The dogs, which were destined for laboratory testing, were removed in a massive, months-long effort led by the Humane Society of the United States and other partners

During our 51st Annual HOPE Telethon, we had the privilege of witnessing the sweetest beagle reunion with a dozen of the 43 beagles reuniting with each other and their new families. It was a very heartwarming experience to see all the beagles so happy and thriving with their forever families! All beagles are finally living their forever afters!

“...Fauci is deeply saddened....”

Their mighty Fauxi is the biggest mass murderer in human history.
Yet, he’s still roaming free and breathing God’s good air.
The evil basstid needs to be brought to justice...someway, somehow..

Yah, great puppers. We have two.

But, don’t anyone look at what some do to such puppers and then condemn all beagle breeders. We got our first from a great breeder in Arkansas and the 2nd from NCaCaLand. The 2nd even turned out to be a Pocket Beagle.
