Trump, Omar Argue Over Whether It's 'Two Corinthians' Or 'Eleven Corinthians'

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A heated dispute broke out on Capitol Hill on Tuesday as President Donald Trump and Congresswoman Ilhan Omar clashed over whether the correct title of the Apostle Paul's epistle was "Two Corinthians" or "Eleven Corinthians."

Sources said the disagreement began when Trump confidently referenced "Two Corinthians" during an impromptu press scrum, only for Omar to correct him that it's actually "Eleven Corinthians."

"Excuse me, Mr. President, but it's obviously 'Eleven Corinthians'," said Omar. "Just like 'Eleven Samuel' and 'Eleven Kings'. Frankly, it's embarrassing that I, a Muslim of all people, would have to correct you on the name of a book of the Christian Bible."

Trump, however, vehemently disagreed. "Everybody knows it's Two Corinthians. One Corinthians and Two Corinthians. It's simple counting, and I am the best at counting," said Trump. "I'm even better than that guy 'The Count' on TV who loves counting things. I'm very smart. Not like you, Ilhan. So low IQ, it's very sad, can't even count to two."

The feisty debate quickly drew a crowd of aides, interns, and one chaplain, who tried to state that the proper pronunciation was neither "Two" nor "Eleven". However, the chaplain was reportedly told by both sides to "hush with that nonsense."

At publishing time, Trump's spiritual adviser Paula White had asked what this "Bible" book was that everyone was arguing about.

I know this is satire but I remember when President Trump said “two Corinthians”.

For me, I cringed a little because I’ve never heard it stated that way but others say it’s a common way to say it (which I’ve never heard)....but WW11?

That tells me that little demon has very little if any knowledge of world history and doesn’t even care.

Reminds me of an old lame Aggie joke.

Why do Aggies have “9-1-1” on their phones and not “911?”

They can’t find eleven on the dial.

This country is finished. If for no other reason, we allow fools, morons and retards into our country’s highest offices. Hank Johnson. Maxine Waters. AOC. Omar what’s her name. To name a few. Disgraceful.

I don’t even believe that they were legitimately elected, considering the blue districts they’re in. Election fraud is far, FAR deeper than we realize.

A Corinthian is a resident of ancient or modern Corinth, Greece.

It is also slang term for some 1970s and 80s Chrysler cars especially the 1975 to 1983 Chrysler Cordoba.

Would you say "There were two American."?

Or

"There were two Americans"?

Democrats don't care who holds the office as long as the real power brockers can weild the power.

Joe Biden is the supreme example.

He was molesting kids and wetting his Depends while Barack Obama, Susan Rice and others ran the country.

She quickly corrected herself, while Trump did not.

Baloney.

Lots of British Christians (for example) say “Two Corinthians”.

yes this is satire, but the least the writer could do is compare same verbal misuse.

2 corinthian may not be commonly said, but it has been said by some that way at times and it does make sense.

While world war 11 is not an actual happening, so makes no sense.

While "Second Corinthians" is the standard, traditional pronunciation in American English, some people, particularly in parts of the UK, Australia, or in casual conversation, may say "Two Corinthians".
