Dr. David M. Morens, a former top adviser to Dr. Anthony Fauci, was arrested and charged Tuesday with conspiracy and destruction of federal records in one of the first cases to allege a cover-up in the COVID-19 pandemic.
The charges – brought by the FBI, Justice Department and the U.S. Health and Human Services inspector general – allege the former senior scientific adviser at the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, which Fauci led for 38 years, committed conspiracy against the United States; destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in federal investigations; concealment, removal or mutilation of records; and aiding and abetting.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said: “These allegations represent a profound abuse of trust at a time when the American people needed it most – during the height of a global pandemic. As alleged in the indictment, Dr. Morens and his co-conspirators deliberately concealed information and falsified records in an effort to suppress alternative theories regarding the origins of COVID-19. Government officials have a solemn duty to provide honest, well-grounded facts and advice in service of the public interest – not to advance their own personal or ideological agendas.”

Keep in mind occasionally you have to go after smaller fish to get a bigger fish.
That’s just the way it is… If this guy is willing to turn and can provide testimony that Fauci was aware that he was falsifying things from destroying data, it would be well worth the time to put the screws to him.

It sounds to me like they have the goods on him.
It would be great if he did turn, if he doesn’t, and he is found guilty… Put him in jail and move on to somebody else who worked with Fauci.
I’ve tried to explain this to people, these people who have committed these crimes at this level of the government are either lawyers, or are lawyered up. I read a statistic recently that said that 40% of all politicians in this country are lawyers.
And while I believe that someone like Fauci is completely reprehensible and corrupt, he isn’t stupid. I am certain he has tried hard to cover his tracks as best he can, which can withstand both a shallow scrutiny, or a scrutiny that is not meant to actually find faults.
So I think this is their best option to find a way to bring him to justice.
Yes, that’s my point, flip him. Immunity.

Even if it’s only a small fish who gets fried, frying, small fish can have a deterringeffect on those other smaller fishes in the future, who might consider going along with illegality.
