Airport lounge chaos goes viral as kids run wild and passengers ditch basic etiquetteWitnesses at one airport lounge watched a couple stuff 6 burgers into duffel bag

Airport lounges were once the destination of a select few. But recently, the premium spaces are becoming increasingly crowded — and chaos is following in some cases.

Stories are going viral about passengers raiding complimentary buffets in lounges, and children wreaking havoc while distracted parents are unfazed.

At one airport lounge in a major New York City airport not long ago, witnesses watched in shock as a couple ordered six signature burgers and multiple orders of buns, the "View from the Wing" blog reported.

Instead of eating the premium patties, the couple stuffed the burgers into a large duffel, adding desserts snatched from the buffet, the blog added.

Then, to conceal the heist, apparently, the couple stashed the greasy plates behind decorative planters, the blog noted.

... "The mores and norms associated with [airport lounges] have changed, and that stands out especially to those whose expectations are built on an earlier era," Leff said....

Another viral incident was captured by a photo of an airport lounge after young children seemed to wreak havoc there.

Yes, there are quite few trashy people flying these days. I am left to wonder just who are they? Where do they get the money to jet around and act like animals? Travel is expensive. Am imagining much of it is charged to fraudulently obtained credit cards. How else?

Yes, they were once exactly that. I used them infrequently, only when on very long international flights. Some had (and maybe still do have) very nice private showers and other amenities that made such travel enjoyable. I don’t fly much any longer, due in large part to the ‘changing demographics’ and the conduct of those individuals who’ve ‘changed’ them.

The elites in our society long ago moved from “first class” airline travel to private jets. They live in private, secure and gated communities. They vacation on private islands and stay restricted access private hotels. Their lives are completely insulated from the people displaying uncivilized behavior they demand we live with and accept as normal.

It's a crazy world.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. flies commercial flights, including in economy class. He and his wife, Cheryl Hines, were recently spotted flying on a commercial American Airlines flight in October 2025, where they sat among passengers in the main cabin—Hines in a middle seat—and were praised online for their down-to-earth approach. The couple was captured in a viral TikTok video boarding separately and taking their seats, sparking positive reactions and comparisons to other politicians who use private jets. This aligns with past instances of RFK Jr. choosing commercial travel, though there have also been reports, such as a 2023 photo, showing him barefoot on a plane, which resurfaced in late 2025 amid discussions about air travel etiquette.

Kristi Noem was a wannabe elite married to a wannabe tranny.

Noem was linked to multiple controversial requests for luxury jets, sparking public and political scrutiny. She sought approval to purchase a $70 million Boeing 737 Max 8, currently leased by DHS, which features a queen-size bedroom, showers, a kitchen, a bar, and seating for up to 18 passengers. DHS claims the jet would serve dual purposes: high-profile deportations and cabinet-level travel, asserting it would save taxpayer money by being 40% cheaper to operate than military alternatives. The $70 million Boeing jet was marketed as having an interior by designer Peter Marino, with terms like “no expense spared” used in promotional materials.

MCTGA

Make commercial travel great again.

cruel & unusual punishment

An effective punishment should be cruel and unusual, at least to some degree. A kindly and forgettable punishment wouldn't do much to discourage future misbehavior, would it?

I do wish that the writers of the Eighth Amendment had come right out and said "torture". The lawyers could still argue about what constitutes torture, but IMO "cruel and unusual punishment" is just too vague.

Bring back segregation. Not based on race but based on being a POS. If you are on the POS list your travel is restricted and your admittance to most public places is banned. Think of No Fly List only it applies to being around people who know how to behave.

Air travel has become too inexpensive. Exhibit A is often observed at Miami International Airport with obese Amish females fighting and tearing off one another’s cornrows…the airlines opening their lounges to the general flying public will ultimately destroy the cachet and business model of what once was a perk of premium flight.

The lounges have got a lot noisier due to the demographic changes…if you get my drift.

Of course FOX has a photo in the story of two little white boys right out of 1965 kneeling politely, looking at the airliner outside the window. The propaganda never ends. Guess you couldn’t screenshot the actual boys taking up the lounge could you?

It even has a fine print notation that those were not the boys in the story.

The folks who once rode the train or Greyhound bus are now flying. Especially noticeable the Amish…

we stayed at a hotel that had free breakfast.
a woman came downstairs with a suitcase on wheels and took almost everything that did not need to be wrapped, including napkins.
Yes, she was.
