Among other problems, the poor kid may grow up with a speech impediment. Any time his little mouth tries to make a “Maaaaa” sound, his caregiver will freak out and get upset. It’s a vocalization. Don’t stomp on it.

We need to recriminalize homosexuality.
This is selfish and is going to screw up the child. But it didn’t come out of nowhere. It is the latest step in a long line of selfishness borne out of the 60s sexual liberation movement. We had this exact same debate in the 1990s with women who were artificially inseminated to have kids without fathers in their lives. Remember the silly Murphy Brown vs. Dan Quayle debate? Remember the “women can have it all - a career, children and no man in their lives” radical feminism? And, of course, that was built on no-fault divorce that told people that its just fine to get a divorce if you have a problem with your spouse. Don’t try to work it out. Just get a divorce. The evidence shows that a child does best in the nuclear family - with a mother and a father who are married. Period. Not two daddies. Not two mommies. But also not one mommie and not a broken family.

Absolutely agreed. “Popular Culture” altered our society, and not in a good way. Absent Faith, it filled the void in our national psyche for meaning, and we are where we are as a direct result.
If only there was some kind of guidance for people, like a book or something.... Like a book with the essential truths about our souls and our fellow man. That’d be so helpful!

Exactly. Some people act like culture went down hill with gay marriage. That is a huge problem but they are fooling themselves if they think that over 50% of couples getting divorced, or women having children without getting married is OK. And at the same time, the statistics show that less and less people go to church. And more people think its not a big deal to have an affair. And now the culture is moving on the normalize the next perversion - pedophilia. It all points to the same problem.
