I don’t know the details of the case, but:
1) If the LAW somehow required her to release the scumbag, she should not be impeached.
2) If the law did NOT require release, she demonstrated a level of judgment far below that required for making life or death decisions. The “judge” is a danger to society, and should resign in shame.
Option 2 seems the most likely.
Howard Law School. The same law school where the entire student body stood and cheered upon hearing the OJ verdict.
So if the prosecutor only would have told the poor judge that the defendant was going to kill someone if he was let free, the judge would have kept him in jail.
It’s not “prejudice”.
