Donald Trump is preparing to replace Attorney General Pam Bondi, the Daily Mail can reveal, after speaking to several sources familiar with his thinking.

Trump informed the attorney general last night shortly before his Iran speech that she would soon be leaving the Justice Department, according to a senior administration source.

Bondi responded by pleading for the President to give her more time in the role, but Trump remained firm that her time leading the agency was over, the Daily Mail can exclusively reveal.

'She was unhappy and tried to change his mind,' the source said.

Is is true that she is friends with Swalwell? I have no idea. Did she tip him off? Possible.

I would like someone to investigate if she intervened for that clown.

He’ll have to name a Senator to get past those losers. What about the fraud guy who was just confirmed? Since he’s been confirmed, can he elevate him?

It wont be long before you will have to come back to this thread and admit she is gone. Might be tomorrow. Is she friends with Swalwell?

I was hoping that Matt Gaetz, his first nominee, would make it through, but now, I’m glad he didn’t.

If she is gone it has to be bad because she was protected by Wiles. It won’t be because of just Epstein. the Swalwell rumor makes sense.

> Who’s he going to get past the congress and senate? <

Assuming the article is correct, yours is an excellent question. If Trump thinks he can get a tougher AG than Bondi through the Senate, he’s probably wrong.

Democrats stick together.
Republicans, not so much.

Who are her Assistant AGs? In the case you mention, it will likely be one of them as "acting AG."

An acting Attorney General of the United States is governed primarily by the Federal Vacancies Reform Act (FVRA) of 1998, which allows them an initial 210 days, then another 210 days if a confirmation is rejected and same for a second nomination process.

So an acting AG can be in power nearly 2 years, although I'm not sure that's ever been done.

Let's hope it is guy, and he is ready to burn DC down.

This would not make me sad. Your right though, who can he get confirmed by congress? If only Thune would take a recess, maybe by recess appointment? I don’t know.
