Vice President JD Vance speculated that UFOs could actually be “demons” flying around Earth, contending that ancient civilizations believed they had encounters with such vile creatures.
“I don’t think they’re aliens. I think they’re demons anyway, but that’s a long discussion,” Vance told conservative podcaster Benny Johnson.
“I mean, every great world religion, including Christianity, the one I believe in, as understood, there are weird things out there,” he later added. “When I hear about [an] extra natural phenomenon, that’s where I go to: The Christian understanding that there’s a lot of good out there, but there’s also evil out there.
“I think that one of the devil’s great tricks is to convince people he never existed.”
Notably, right-wing pundit Tucker Carlson had conveyed similar beliefs about unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) being demons rather than aliens. Carlson also claimed to have been attacked in the middle of the night by a demon and left with claw marks while sleeping next to his wife and dog.
Vance, who converted to Catholicism in 2019, underscored his obsession with UAPs and vowed to “get to the bottom of it.”
“When I came in, I was obsessed with the UFO files, and you start getting really busy worrying about the economy and national security, and things like that. But I’ve still got three years left as vice president,” Vance.

It’s “bonkers” if the person considering it is Godless and on their way to hell, that’s for sure. In reality it is no more “bonkers” than believing that whatever it turns out to be are “aliens” also. Sort of like the theory of evolution, which is the best guess that science is able to make at this time leaving God and the things of God totally out of the discussion. So perhaps you can look at it as, Unbelievers think that the theory of evolution is real, and some Christians think that what the world apparently wants people to believe are aliens, they believe they are something to do with the spiritual realm. Maybe everyone is wrong and it is all some sort of natural phenomenon that we simply don’t understand.

The demon angle makes more sense than extraterrestrial aliens from another planet. Many scientists insist space travel in/from deep space is impossible for a number of reasons. Demons exist and live to torment mankind. As the time of the Second Coming gets nearer, God will lift restraints on demons and man will witness unbelievable chaos.
