Vice President JD Vance speculated that UFOs could actually be “demons” flying around Earth, contending that ancient civilizations believed they had encounters with such vile creatures.
“I don’t think they’re aliens. I think they’re demons anyway, but that’s a long discussion,” Vance told conservative podcaster Benny Johnson.
“I mean, every great world religion, including Christianity, the one I believe in, as understood, there are weird things out there,” he later added. “When I hear about [an] extra natural phenomenon, that’s where I go to: The Christian understanding that there’s a lot of good out there, but there’s also evil out there.
“I think that one of the devil’s great tricks is to convince people he never existed.”
Notably, right-wing pundit Tucker Carlson had conveyed similar beliefs about unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) being demons rather than aliens. Carlson also claimed to have been attacked in the middle of the night by a demon and left with claw marks while sleeping next to his wife and dog.
Vance, who converted to Catholicism in 2019, underscored his obsession with UAPs and vowed to “get to the bottom of it.”
“When I came in, I was obsessed with the UFO files, and you start getting really busy worrying about the economy and national security, and things like that. But I’ve still got three years left as vice president,” Vance.

I don't know what is behind all the alien abduction stories. I've seen two structured discs, one during a bright sunny day, another at night. Both appeared to be solid craft pulling Gs that would probably crush a man.
Who or what is operating them I have no idea.
As for demons, I have absolutely seen people I believe to be demonically possessed. And have interacted with three persons throughout the years whom I later suspected were angels.
I suppose that at the end of life we'll find out if the two phenomena are related or not.
Trump has ordered Hegseth and other agencies to disclose what they know about UFOs/UAPs to the public. It may be a nothingburger, but here it comes.

That's a good point for a variety of reasons.
Trump demonstrated to the world that transparency and a what-you-see-is-what-you-get personality has a huge amount of appeal on the national political stage. J.D. also came to fame with his very brutally honest and transparent book, "Hillbilly Elegy."
I think the entire MAGA movement is very much about authenticity/transparency/truth.

Demons do exist. Not sure if they would mask themselves as aliens when the perks of politics are so much nearer at hand.
That said, I knew Quix well and chatted with him often by email after he was banned. He came back under another name before he passed, but wouldn't get involved in the UFO issue. I spoke with Jim about Quix and Jim said he didn't mind if Quix came back as Quix if he would soften a bit. Quix couldn't do it.
He was a great guy, but he was aware that he could get a little strident about this issue.
He was a devout Christian, so I don't think we need to worry about his current home.;-)
