Vice President JD Vance speculated that UFOs could actually be “demons” flying around Earth, contending that ancient civilizations believed they had encounters with such vile creatures.
“I don’t think they’re aliens. I think they’re demons anyway, but that’s a long discussion,” Vance told conservative podcaster Benny Johnson.
“I mean, every great world religion, including Christianity, the one I believe in, as understood, there are weird things out there,” he later added. “When I hear about [an] extra natural phenomenon, that’s where I go to: The Christian understanding that there’s a lot of good out there, but there’s also evil out there.
“I think that one of the devil’s great tricks is to convince people he never existed.”
Notably, right-wing pundit Tucker Carlson had conveyed similar beliefs about unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) being demons rather than aliens. Carlson also claimed to have been attacked in the middle of the night by a demon and left with claw marks while sleeping next to his wife and dog.
Vance, who converted to Catholicism in 2019, underscored his obsession with UAPs and vowed to “get to the bottom of it.”
“When I came in, I was obsessed with the UFO files, and you start getting really busy worrying about the economy and national security, and things like that. But I’ve still got three years left as vice president,” Vance.

Most people who report extraterrestrial encounters are what you describe. The rest are people who observe legitimately strange phenomena but naively assume that they're seeing something extraterrestrial or supernatural rather than a more mundane explanation, e.g. experimental aircraft. The powers that be would rather people think they're seeing aliens than classified experimental technology.
I saw a UFO when I was 12.
An oval, blue white craft seen in broad daylight and seen by other witnesses. Nope, not a misidentification.
Not a prank.
Not a hoax.
Dad and I were perfectly sane.
I never even tried to make a buck off of it.
Getting kind of tired of ignorant people talking about things they know nothing about.
You saw a flying object that you couldn’t identify. You didn’t see aliens. If you think that you saw aliens, there’s really no question as to who’s the ignorant one here.
How do you know what Crusher saw? You weren't there. It would be pretty scary to see a UFO; cut him a little slack.
His opinion about what he thought he saw is just as valid as yours. Your opinion is that this is a psyop. You may be right or you may be wrong.
Quite frankly, the President, the VP, Tulsi, Rubio, Ratcliffe, and many others are of the opinion that this is not a psyop–and they may be right, unless they are themselves either perpetrators or victims of the psyop.
Was it stationary or was it moving? If it was moving, how fast. How did it disappear from view? Into the horizon of in the blink of an eye?
If there are real space aliens, then it will provide a very different narrative of history than the one currently accepted.
I have a lot speculative ideas.
Uppermost is that historically alien being spottings tend to coincide with massive technological change.
I never said it was aliens.
It was a blue white oval, maybe 30 to 40 long, flying slowly about 50 feet up. A local radio station remote van was following it and broadcasting. We were listening to it on the radio and watching it in real time. People listening thought it was a spoof. We knew the area he claimed he was in and drove over and saw...weirdness.
The object passed perpendicular to our path. It accelerated and took off in a parabolic curve, flying over Commercial Boulevard, over the Sony building.
Dad asked if I had just seen that. After that day he almost never spoke of it.
An aside...my uncle, Dad’s brother-in-law, had a long career in Air Force intelligence. Dad spoke to him shortly after the event. It was years before I put together that Dad’s silence probably had something to do with that phone call.

That’s a straw man. The reason Vance thinks they are “demons” is because they seem to be interdimensional.
I saw one, 1973, on a country road, at night. It took a bee line right toward the car. I stopped cold, and turned off the car and lights, whereupon it flipped direction at a 90 degree angle and took off.
The railroad watch-a keepsake- I had stopped working. Taking it to a watchmaker, the man’s comment was, “This watch has been magnetized.” And so, I became convinced ET is real.

For the longest time I was convinced it was ET. Lately, I'm not so sure.
From some of the latest I have read about quantum physics, the more I am convinced that time travel is possible. It could be us in the future checking out historical events.
Then I get down the rabbit hole of previous civilizations. It is becoming clear that our planet goes through periodic cataclysms that could wipe out a civilization. There are many things that indicate that the latest cataclysm happened about 12,000 years ago during what is called The Younger Dryas. What if UAPs are craft from survivors of that event who literally went underground or under the sea? Maybe they were advanced enough to have a colony on the Moon or Mars?
