Over the past few months, there has been a rash of social media videos from nurses making absolutely atrocious comments about people with whom they disagree politically. Here’s an example, posted this past weekend.
Actually, these have been common since Pres. Trump began his second term, but they’ve really ramped up since the beginning of combat in the Gulf. This one wants all MAGA supporters to jump off bridges so that she can take pleasure in watching. Others, cutting a lot closer to the bone, have stated that they’d refuse care to MAGA supporters or, in one case, take steps during treatment to assure that wouldn’t recover. (I heard that this one was fired, but I haven’t been able to track the story down to verify that.) In other words, acting like those medical psychopaths who deliberately target patients.
The response to these vids has been surprise and shock: these young women have embarked on careers devoted to the care of the sick and helpless. Yet here they are wishing pain, misery, and even death to those who hold different opinions.
There exists a medical protocol called the Liverpool Care Pathway. It was pioneered by the British National Health Service as a means of saving money regarding the treatment of terminal patients. It is widely used in Europe, Canada, and has made inroads in a number of hospices in the U.S. (The NHS claims that it has been "discontinued" but it remains in use under other names.)
What it amounts to, behind the filigree of abstruse medical terminology, is injecting dying patients with large doses of morphine then walking out and closing the door. That’s it, really. The places I go are quick to remove political hacks. If a Nurse or Doctor is suspected, then they can be reported.
Exactly, most women are averse to conflict, that makes it doubly difficult for female lawyers.

many years ago....my neighbors kid was a nurse, and she told us that when whiny loud people were the patients, the nurses made sure to make the shot hurt.
this was in the 90’s.
My wife was an RN. DIL a patient care tech. They both agree - and my DIL is somewhat liberal - that most nurses are “batshite crazy progs”, as you put it. Although they would add “Fat” to that title.
I like watching The Pitt but if they continue on their bullshit bent I will stop watching.
This is what happens when you educate nurses in our pathetic colleges and universities today. They are listening to the same communist leaning professors other kids are.
How much better were the hospital trained nurses. Today anyone can sign up to be a nurse. In the previous years IQ testing, interviews, and aptitude sifting to attempt to choose those actually suited for caring for the public. In addition the schools were located adjacent to hospitals; learning there daily resulted in plenty of hospital nurses.
This big “shortage” of nurses is actually hospital shortages when the students figure out they are not really cut out to care for sick people. And so it is no surprise to me when they join the political game of the day and are able to neglect their supposed purpose in life.
Medicine practice is an infiltrated minefield of woked haters
Last week I went to my dentist for a tooth extraction. While seated in the dental chair awaiting the procedure to begin they asked if I had any preference in TV channels (they had a screen they could position in front of the patient) ... I began to say FOX but thought better of it and chose one of those scenic channels with soft music. The dentist is originally from the Pacific NW and a big time Seattle Seahawks fan. Not sure of his political leanings but considering his pedigree I think I made a wise choice. ;)
The Nurses Union was out in full force this past weekend protesting at the NO KINGS rallies. They were protesting Trump and policies including the Iran war.
I know a retired nurse who said most medical professionals, including nurses and doctors, are hard core Keftists.
Must be using the Metric time, and not Imperial.
I like this idea.
I do think the legal field/schooling has changed for the worse in this regard since Laura Ingraham’s time. It’s much more political now.
