WASHINGTON — House Republicans are preparing to reject a Senate-passed funding bill to reopen most of the Department of Homeland Security, prolonging a more than 40-day shutdown.
The impasse could mean more pain for hundreds of thousands of federal workers who are missing paychecks, and no permanent solution for long lines at airport security checkpoints.
“It’s not going to pass as it is,” Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) told The Post less than an hour after former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows posted on X that the DHS bill was “dead in the House.”

He gets a few anti trumpers to go with the Dems and he kills the bill. There’s a class of GOPer that hates Trump.more than AOC does and will do whatever nedds to be done to embarass him.
If the House won’t pass it, the public blame will shift from Schumer back to the GOP.
The bill will give the Rats what they want and the Pubs are apparently going along with them.
and the House wont go for this folding by the GOP so the entire Senate bill is dead anyway..this is why the Dems can NEVER regain power, they will abolish ICE, you wont have it anymore and you will have 100 MILLION new Dem voters crossing over the border

ICE will be funded in a Reconciliation Bill along with a big Part of the Dave America Act. Dems lost.

The RATs absolutely depend on an ignorant base. The more you learn about this evil power grubbing party the less likely you will vote for them. Jay Leno use to routinely expose how ignorant voters are for laughs. That is one of the reasons they maintain their power. Why are so many Republicans little better? Because the kind of person who wants to become a politician is usually the kind of person you’d least likely want to give any power . Trump is derailing their gravy train which is why the worst of the worst hate him so much.
