The Paramount+ 'Star Trek' show will end after its already filmed second season.
So much for Paramount+‘s Gen Z Star Trek show.
The streamer has decided to end Star Trek: Starfleet Academy after season two.
Starfleet Academy had recently finished airing its debut season. Paramount+ had (rather optimistically, as it turned out) already ordered a second season, which recently wrapped production.
Starfleet Academy has been a polarizing entry in the Trek canon. Many critics have celebrated the show for focusing on a younger generation and its coming-of-age themes. On social media, the show has been a frequent target of mockery from those who claim the show is too “woke.”
On Rotten Tomatoes, the show had an 87 percent positive critics score, but a dismal 51 percent audience score.
The show also never managed to chart among Nielsen’s weekly top 10 streaming lists for viewership.
The news comes at a time when there are no longer any Star Trek TV shows in production, though there are two previously filmed seasons of Strange New Worlds that have yet to air.

The gays had legitimate arguments in the past which is no more today. They were discriminated against in the, past and this is no more. As normal the Marxists seize such to lure them into socialist policies. Read Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals." It is an extraordinary book about Marxism he explains it all with total clarity including how to do it and all tactics. He was a brilliant man and also AN EVIL SON OF A BITCH. Hillary Clinton admired him.
Paul Giamatti has made some really good movies, then he has a few stinkers in there that should be forgotten.
Civ 6 seems to be way better, but you can pry my civ 3 from my cold dead hands!
They should have had Shatner in it.
Lolz
“Star Trek Continues”
Now that was good. I mean really good.
Hollywood would hate it good.
Simultaneous to the premiere of "Star Fleet SPECIAL Academy," Nerdrotic live-streamed a Spock action figure sitting motionlessly on a chair.
His livestream garnered more views than the Star Trek episode!
Regards,
This woke disaster had no audience. They even released one to be shown on Youtube for free and nobody would watch it.
Nobody should sneer at video games. Its a significantly bigger industry than films.
TNG had some very good episodes. Even early on, I liked (despite a few drawbacks) “Heart Of Glory”, which began the further exploration of Worf’s character (which characterization started out rather dismally and generic.)
Watch this clip and tell me it’s not excellent?

Star Drek?
The “artists” are trying to push on us their agenda, at any costs.
They always did it.
But the audience is figuring that out!
It is the time for the producers to wake up.
From what I understand, Paul Giamatti is (possibly was) a Star Trek fan. I have no idea what the man’s beliefs or politics are, but I can’t help but wonder what his opinion on the franchise is after this show. Robert Picardo on the other hand I respected up until he opened his mouth.
The only episode of TNG worth watching is “The Inner Light”. Good story, great acting, and a satisfying ending. Go directly to that one.
They really don’t care, they got their paydays and they then get to tell the people how bigoted, homophobic, and racist they are because they didn’t like the garbage the virtuous elite produced for us to show us how bigoted, homophobic, and racist we are.
