Japan is just fascinating. They can be rigid and formal a lot of the time. They can also be cute and endearing.

Huh...that WAS pretty cool. I would not have expected that, and it wasn’t a formal hug (the way two guys sometimes hug, not that close, especially the torso, and often accompanied by an awkward pat on the back!)
It seemed genuine, and I wouldn’t have expected it even from a female world leader.

She was so embarrassed when the Japanese press guy tried to do a gotcha on Trump. He dropkicked the guy halfway back to Japan, as we saw earlier. She knows the key to Trump is buttering him up. Then he’ll give you a ‘nice’ deal instead of eating you alive.
