Steven Spielberg, who has frequently explored extraterrestrial themes on the silver screen, is set to return with another science fiction drama, Disclosure Day. Ahead of the film’s release, the director expressed support for former President Barack Obama’s remarks on the possibility of alien life. He believed this was “amazing” for his new film.

Steven Spielberg is set to return with a new UFO film, Disclosure Day. Ahead of the film’s release, former President Barack Obama sparked renewed interest in the topic after recent remarks went viral.

Obama spoke to Brian Tyler Cohen last month, suggesting that extraterrestrial life could be “real.” This drew widespread global attention. Obama later clarified that he meant it in a statistical sense.

Spielberg later addressed the remarks and said that his film Disclosure Day could benefit from the renewed interest (via Variety). “When President Obama made that comment, I thought, ‘Oh my God, this is so great for Disclosure Day,’” Spielberg said. “Then two days later, he stepped back the comments and said what he believed in was life in the cosmos, which, of course, everybody should believe in. Because no one should ever think that we are the only intelligent civilization in the entire universe,” he added.

Spielberg has a new movie about aliens. This means his marketing team will be working overtime to find ways to get you experience alien and UFO tie-ins.

Watch for an increase in articles and 'news reports' about unexplained sighting of aliens and UFOs.

It's called marketing.

I came her to say the same thing. Steven and Barack are bros. Barack was tossing him a bone.

Not sure if Trump is in on the joke, but they are all looking like ticktock influencers for Spielberg’s production company.

Given your debunker bias, everything you say about this matter is tainted.

I think we are being softened up. Liberals will go ga-ga over the idea of joining an interplanetary federation.

I love the way the guy assumed the aliens were trying to “help” us avoid wwiii. Actually, Satan and his lackeys are murderers. They just want us dead.

Spielberg is one of the most powerful brand names in cinema. Movies with his name attached get massive built-in awareness and free publicity.

Because of this, studios often spend relatively less on aggressive paid advertising for Spielberg films compared to anonymous blockbusters that need to buy attention. The name + high-quality trailers do the heavy lifting.

Who cares what Obama thinks. What was he ever on the right side of?
Immigration?

Maybe he does believe in “aliens”, and not “undocumented citizens”

---- "Given your debunker bias, everything you say about this matter is tainted."

Good morning. Given everything everybody has to say about something with the word, unknown, as in UFO, in it, bias is the only possibility.

As to "possibility of alien life," I am sure their is alien life. Most life on this planet is "living" and with the exception of humans, there's not a whole lot of chitter chat going on. unless in chirp, squeak, roar, woof and meow....

And as to a significant lack of intelligence, there are Democrats and the DSA talking about going to Cuba.... They love their aliens.

...and all teenagers, and college students will fall for it. All the producers want...people sitting down and being “entertained” for a slight fee....a total waste of time for them.

no one should ever think that we are the only intelligent civilization in the entire universe

I’m going to break the rules and say that it’s a real possibility that we are. By no means a certainty, but a possibility. How many variables are involved that would make life on a planet possible? Probably a lot, and they all have to exist simultaneously. Now step that up to intelligent, highly evolved life. A lot more variables, again all existing simultaneously. The odds could be trillions to one, which would make our planet the only one in the whole galaxy with intelligent life. Or it could be trillion of trillions to one. Anyway, you get the idea.

Interplanetary?
Little green men from Mars? Nope.
Interdimentional demons? Yep.

Good morning.

I would disagree that bias is the only possibility.

Given the lack of direct evidence and the paradigm busting possibility of this issue in general, I would suggest that the only "possibility" for intelligent people is objectivity.

We just don't know what we are dealing with. It may be mass hypnosis (though that doesn't explain sensor "evidence" from FLIR and radar), government psyops, demons, some kind of non-human intelligence, or something we haven't even considered yet.

Think about it. Civilization which understands our technology and our intentions secretly disables a bank of our weapons when we have so many other weapon systems which they don’t disable.
They don’t reveal themselves openly. Why is it always a hidden revelation of their actions to one person?
Wishful thinking at work? Something is going on in our minds...some sort of belief “virus”...a great deception...

Uncertainty is OK

Assuming certainty is most likely wrong
