Messages sent to an A-I chatbot were at the center of a preliminary hearing for a former NFL player charged with first-degree murder.
Investigators say dozens of messages between Darron Lee and ChatGPT were presented in court as prosecutors outlined their case surrounding the death of Lee’s girlfriend, Gabriella Perpetuo, who was found dead inside their Ooltewah home.
Hamilton County Sheriff’s Detective Brian Lockhart testified that Lee contacted the chatbot just a day before Perpetuo’s death, describing a disturbing situation.

It’s hard to believe there are people — allegedly alive and breathing — who are so dumb.
An autopsy determined the cause of death was blunt force trauma, with injuries including severe brain trauma, a broken neck, widespread bruising, a large bite mark on her shoulder and thigh, and stab wounds to her legs.
Yeah, sure, that list of injuries is consistent with a fall in the shower.
Sorry-story’s too absurd.

I don’t know, but that doesn’t sound right.
Anyone who watches “true crime” TV realizes knows that murders do stupid s__t like this all the time. They Google things like “how do I kill my husband with antifreeze?” or “how do I get rid of a body without it being found?” and then think that by deleting the search, it won’t be found by the police. A large number of crimes are solved by criminal stupidity.

Lee claims the reason the microwave was shattered was because the windows in the home had been up for an extended period of time and once they were closed it caused a drastic shift in temperature, causing it to “explode”.
Our woke world loves AI. AI is the backdoor to LEO, all AI is spy data for our overlords.
It has it’s purposes. My head felt weird last month and I began getting these red bumps. When I mentioned it to ChatGPT, it told me I had shingles and what to do about it. When I saw the doctor the next day, he basically told me the same.
OTOH, I caught a live mouse with a glue trap last summer. ChatGPT was telling me how frightened the mouse felt and how to set it free in the woods. I wasn’t concerned about the mouse’s “feelings” and I would have preferred it dead rather than alive.
So, you see, AI bots are useful for some things, not others. I would prefer it not advise people on how to cover up a murder.
