One of the oldest themes in the Bible is God putting his will into the hearts of rulers to do what he wants them to do. In fact, he not only chooses the rulers, raises them up or takes them out, but he decides what they will do during their administration, or during the period of their rule, even though they think they are in charge.
Fox News, Reuters, and Axios are all reporting that Ali Khamenei was killed, and his body has been found. The 86-year-old Khamenei led Iran for the last 35 years. He has plunged Iran into conflict with many major nations and his own neighbors. Many are glad to hear of his demise.

Our brain is not big enough to even contemplate it, so I resent when folks try to fit ‘their’ God into their little understanding. Have faith. Everything is in control and is happening in God’s Perfect Timing. Enjoy your lives for a change instead of focusing on things you can’t control.
Exactly- God was even in control of Pharoah- It is God who raises up and makes low- He uses world leaders to accomplish his planGod could have taken out saddahm anytime He wanted- Yet He chose, for his own reasons, to wait until Pres Bush to accomplish it- He could have taken out any leader at any time- He raised up Pres Trump- A warrior - to take care of business that needs taking care of perhaps to set things up for end times- perhaps not- -

I agree. He raised up GW Bush for his day, President Trump for now. Netanyahu for this day. Even Biden. Sometimes He has to lower the people in order to raise them up. The US was forced to lower itself (humble itself) before it can be raised up. ALL IN GOD’S PERFECT TIMING!

Only if you accept the interpretation that Gog and Magog are in reference to Russia and Iran, which is far from a given. (Especially since, historically, different writers and commentators have interpreted Gog/Magog in reference to the Romans, the Goths, the Scythians, the Huns, the Turks, the Mongols, and so on.) It was only during the Cold War that the identification of Gog with the USSR gained traction here in America; post-Cold War, various Islamic countries became the next target of this identification with Gog/Magog, especially amongst evangelical Americans.
