he whole point of Impractical Jokers is a few pranksters doing things, on purpose, which violate the norms of our society. This is what’s known as comedy. In real life, the whole point of a border is keeping people out who violate the norms of our society by accident. This is what we know as “having a country.”
Now, we all know that a country can be comical, but things get serious when too many people from too many countries start violating your norms willy-nilly. For instance, do Americans stand in line or crowd to the front? Do we throw trash in the garbage bins or on the street? How loudly can we play our music with the windows open? And can anybody park on the lawn?
Things get more uncomfortable when you ask, at what age is an impregnable women too young? And can you just follow one around if she’s alone, or stare at her on the bus? Do you have to wash your hands before making a stranger a hot dog? And should people own actual dogs? And can you blast prayers at six in the morning from the top of a building? And do you have to hold it all in, or can you just poop on the street?
(Fooled you on that last one. In San Francisco, almost anyone can fit in except Republicans.)
Some other differences go well beyond laws and affect the norms. George Patton writes in his memoirs that when he visited the sultan in Morocco, a leopard broke out of its cage and ran straight into the harem. A lot of screams were heard, and the sultan took off.

America’s alliance with Britain is like the German alliance with Austro Hungary during WW I characterized as being shackled to a corpse. Trump’s latest National Defense Policy recognizes that Britain and Europe are a more trouble than their worth.
The British monarch has limited powers. And the House of Commons could abolish the monarchy in one day.
But the monarch is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces. Would William be bold enough to stage a military coup to save his country?
I’m guessing the chance of that happening is less than 1%. Because it’s so much easier to kick the can down the road.

The British monarch (king or queen) has no real power. It's a facade to placate monarchists and tradition.

Racism existed long before England formed, even amongst primitive tribes who had never seen a white man.
Before 1900, England and Scotland were ALREADY very diversified:
the English North (Yorkshire, Lancashire, etc) are quite, quite different from the midlands and both are different from the south (Sussex,) and the west country (Devon, etc.)
The kingdom of England was only created in the early 1000s by combining different kingdoms and also combining with Norse peoples and with absorbed Cornishmen etc. Then came the Normans and they were again with a french speaking ruling class.
They only really united in the 1600s
The Scots have always been highly diversified - the kingdom of the Picts in the north-west were conquered by the Scotti - who came from Ireland and then they conquered the Britons around Glasgow (Alt Cluith). Then they had the norse around Edinburgh and later French-Norman elite.
By the 1700s this HIGHLY diverse English-Scottish-Welsh union took in tons of Huguenots, Dutch, Jews from Spain etc. etc.
The ‘diversity’ that is killing the UK is adding Islam to that mix pure and simple

for the 1600s to 1707 they basically begged the Mughal emperors and southern Indian Hindu (and Muslim) rulers for the right to trade.
They only managed to conquer the sub-continent in 1810 as the Mughals crumbled in 1707 with the death of Aurangzeb and then the replacing power - the Marathas - were too disjointed to put up a joint front against the English.
