Boomers not retiring is a big reason for lots of the issues with jobs and affordability today. Boomers are blocking Gen-X from Senior Management and it cascades down, since Gen-X can’t move up they are stuck in Middle Management blocking the Millennials from those jobs who in turn are blocking the Gen-Z from entry level jobs.
But who cares about families and future generations, it’s all about the Boomers feeling fulfilled and good about themselves.
1000 years from now, that generation will still be cursed.
That post shows what you were really posting about, feeling that the world is holding you back and not seeing how wonderful you really are, and that is why you aren’t fulfilling your fantasies.
Filling sorry for yourself and blaming others (even generations of others) is not a trait for getting ahead.
If you do the hiring and firing, why can’t you get the employees you want?
That is really funny because just a few years ago it was that all the Boomers were retiring early and those poor wittle replacements just were so overworked.
Be nice if Generation Zilch would pick an excuse and stick to it but they have never stuck with anything in their life so why would this be any different?

What you're describing has always been there in well-run successful companies: aggressive new-hires, newly-promoted team leads, first-line managers, department/division heads, C-suite officers.
People are usually 25-30 years into their careers before reaching upper-management, and once there they plan to stay for awhile because they heve the breadth and depth of experience to handle such a role.
It's the nature of the job pyramid, with fewer opportunities the higher you get. But the higher you get, the more you need to know, and the more you needed to demonstrate that you can do the job. Those candidates get identified early on and are put on high-performance tracks to see how far they can go. Others work the jobs that they have, perhaps looking ahead to the next one, or perhaps are grateful for the job that they have that let's them bring home the paycheck that supports putting their kids through school or caring for an elderly parent.
Everyone's personal situations are different and nobody really knows what's going on in their coworkers' homes, so we accept that we work in a place that nobody wants to leave and plan our careers through it as best as we can without begrudging the successes of others who came before us.
Or we leave and hope the next company is as good as the one we left, and that my experience transfers over with minimal career backside or the promised improvements materialize.

Not only do boomers possess skills, intellect and work ethics missing in Gen-Xers, but they are not consumed with "social justice", social media and the serious psychotic mental disorder of being unable to grasp reality.
