In the movie Tombstone, after the famous shootout at the OK Corral, bad-guy Johnny Ringo went looking for Wyatt Earp. Ringo was going to kill him. Instead, Val Kilmer, playing the part of Doc Holliday and friend of Wyatt, met Ringo and delivered the movie’s most famous line: “I’m your huckleberry.” The phrase “I’m you huckleberry” was 19th-century slang for “I’m the guy you’re looking for,” “I’m your man,” or “Bring it on.” It was a macho, braggadocious expression used when confronting an adversary.
Macon, Georgia has lots of huckleberries. That’s unfortunate, because when two huckleberries meet, bad things usually happen. That’s exactly what occurred last week in the hoods of Macon. Over several days’ time, there were eight, maybe nine, shootings that left five dead and another nine injured.
The shootouts in and around Macon’s OK Corral (the Unionville neighborhood) began Saturday, Feb 21, at 12:30 A.M. (one man shot). Then Shaviz Adams was shot and killed at 6:58 P.M., and at 7:24 P.M., another man was shot. The day ended with three people shot at 11:59 P.M.; one victim was only seven years old.
Sunday picked up where Saturday left off. At 1:29 A.M., a seventeen-year-old male was shot and injured. Then the serious huckleberries came out at 3:35 A.M., on Moseley Ave, and three men were blasted into eternity. That was followed by a 6:30 A.M. shooting that left two more wounded. The weekend’s final shooting victim was a 55-year-old woman, shot at 2:37 P.M.
However, the huckleberries weren’t finished. On Wednesday, in south Macon, a 45-year-old man was shot and killed. If you’re counting, that’s five dead and nine wounded in nine separate shootings, all in a city of 155,000.
Fortunately, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) does good work apprehending the perps.

I think it will be found that most of these shooters grew up in fatherless homes. They grew up to be wild, feral animals.
Thomas Sowell and Larry Elder and many others have said exactly the same things for decades. Its completely true.
I agree with MtnClimber. 73% of black children have no father present in the home. Part of this problem is because welfare payments are higher when the father is NOT present. How about this: reduce welfare and other transfer payments (rent subsidies, SNAP, etc.) by 20% when the father is NOT present. Do you think black mothers are going to give up $5000-$10000 a year to not have him help raise the kids? It’s easy to be a father, being a parent isn’t. It’s time for black men to step up and take responsibility for their children.
Start putting the crazies in jail and keeping them there and the problem of huckleberries goes away.
But the democrats designed welfare that way, many women with children on welfare cannot get married because then the flow of money dries up. So the kids grow up with no father around, or at least not in the house anyway, until he needs to make another “deposit”.
Agree with the “fatherless home” concept, but also because our media keeps telling them how oppressed they are.

I watched an NFL game this year, Steelers vs. Bengals. Star WR for Cincinnati JaMarr Chase spit in the face of Steelers’ DB Jalen Ramsey, who then went crazy, punching Chase, and subsequently getting kicked out of the game. It wasn’t obvious at the time what Chase did to set off the fight, so I believe he wasn’t punished until after the game. That’s my recollection.. could be wrong.
Ramsey said after the game, when someone spits on you, it doesn’t matter what’s going on, what the circumstances are, Ramsey is going to fight... or words to that effect. I thought to myself, ‘there it is, that’s the black mindset, that’s why there’s so much violence’. Here you have a multi-millionaire playing a sport, and he’s willing to forget that in a second if someone spits on him?
If the multi-millionaire is willing to disregard his team and his job, just because someone disrespected or baited him, what’s the poor guy on the street going to do? I think these guys have been taught by their relatives, their communities, society, the black man must never let a slight go unanswered. They must fight at every opportunity for ‘respect’.
No one has ever taught them to turn the other cheek. Most of the male voices they hear are young hot-heads like themselves. The wiser older men are few and far between. They don’t listen to the women, because what do the women know about being a man?

Reforms I have proposed in the past:
Section 8 could be reformed to have caps 40% of HUD fair market rent for first adult, 20% for second adult, 20% for first kid, 10% for second kid.
In calculating Section 8 benefits, $800/month might be added to the lowest adult income and up to $1,500/month removed from the second adult income.
An additional non-medical welfare benefit (Obamaphone, SNAP, TANF, housing) cap per person might start at $0 and rise $1,000 each year after 2 years of age for up to 10 years. Any drawdown not paid back would be offset by the Social Security program.
To finance these additional benefits, additional benefit drawdowns would result in the loss of tort damages other than amounts paid out by the injured party for vehicle damage or medical care for a period twice as long as the unrepaid drawdown.
Kids under age 2 would not qualify for any non-medical welfare benefit other than WIC.

As long s the media and the liberals display violence as the answer to everything and while showing that it is acceptable for blacks to do it, even in some cases present it as the only answer (easiest) to ending an issue along with heroizing it, it is going to happen.
Blacks are exhibited as animals and they have been taught to play the role to further for their race or themselves. And until both aides meet on an equal scale using our intelligence and not out hands and feet, it will continue. But the liberals use discontentment to garnish votes so they can stay in power, it will continue as they feed off this mindset.

The parent will stick up for the kid, the school district too, over teachers who are on the front lines.
Can’t suspend or expel them b/c “racism” and a lawyer standing by ready to sue.
Saw it many times in the schools...including reporting nothing when weapons were found.
I think part has to do with what one eats and drinks.
