President Volodymyr Zelensky is worried America and the European Union will forget about Ukraine as focus turns to the Middle East, and that the deliveries of advanced Western missiles will dry up as they’re needed to fight Iran, he told an Italian newspaper.
The United States and allies attacking Iran “is right”, President Zelensky said, and brings certain benefits to Ukraine, but the brewing up of a war in the Middle East risks Ukraine’s defence because there is a limited supply of air defence missiles in the world, he has said. Speaking to Milan-published Italian newspaper Il Corriere della Sera as the conflict around Iran spreads, President Zelensky opined: “I think attacking Iranian military targets was a good decision. The Iranians produce a lot of weapons for Russia, especially drones and missiles, although I believe they will no longer be able to do so, and perhaps the Russians will arm them in turn”.

In all, “it’s a risk” that the United States and the European Union will forget about Ukraine because they are so focussed on the Middle East.

This business in Iran cuts out supply of drones to Russia, and a Chinese toehold in the Middle East.
At least the grift is stopped for now as far as US treasure is concerned.
Well, if that’s true then Zelensky missed his golden window to negotiate a favorable ceasefire. At the time it seemed pretty clear that neither Zelensky nor Putin wanted a ceasefire, but at this point perhaps both regret that.
Here’s hoping.

Forgetting isn’t the problem, being out of weapons to send is the problem. The US is now expending a lot of ordinance on Iran, and shortages were already a problem.
The Iran War is clarifying what Zelensky’s real intentions in the Ukraine War are. The Iran War will ultimately help Ukraine. Iran was supplying Russia with drones and other logistical support. That isn’t happening anymore. But the US isn’t funneling money into Ukraine, which is what Zelensky really wants. He wants $$$$ that he can divert into his bank account.
Zelensky lives under the deluded belief that the rest of the world revolves around Ukraine and its needs. It does not.
There is some merit at looking at a map of northern Iran and its shoreline with the Caspian. This delusion that Iran is cut off is hard to justify with all those routes to China and its production of . . . anything.
The Caspian also is the route for sanctioned oil export, intermixed with other oil producers along the shoreline, including Russia and Kazahkstan, and the mechanism for getting paid via BRICS.
He’s talking about a little piece of land....and we’re talking the annihilation of the world by a merciless regime.
This is an ideal time for Trump to pull the plug on Zelensky and end the senseless war in Ukraine. The war was largely provoked by NATO and Ukraine. They are going to have to give up the four provinces as the penalty for their overreach. Hopefully, NATO will learn its lesson not to start proxy wars.
Iran is a U.S. interest.
Ukraine isn’t.

I have to disagree, even though I agree the war has to end, and the war is primarily the fault of the US.
Ukraine is a resource gold mine.
The only reason Ukraine is not a rising economic power house is the corrupt leadership that the nation is crippled with.
Nation's corrupt leadership is also the primary cause of the war and its continuation. You can bet the most of the financial aid going to the country is ending up in oligarch pockets.
Suposedly we gave him lots of money and weapons over the years. What happened to them? He probably sold the weapons on the black market and kept the money for himself.
Ukraine...Ukraine...hmmmm...where have I heard that name before?
We can make an agreement with both countries when the wars over.
Until then. Not our problem.
