I’m retired and i suppose 17 miles or so is no big deal, as I drive a Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid.
I drive thru OK on my way to texas every now and then and it seems almost all their gas stations have reserved a few pumps of no ethanol gas...a little more expensive but not too much.
Never even considered AV gas...doesn’t seem like a good idea.

I have been warning everyone for years now that it all happens in the primaries.
That's when candidates can become office holders.Often with far fewer voters as well.
If we don't start taking the primaries far more seriously than we do we will continue to be infested with rinos.

That’s what I was thinking - gas floating above water, which is why we used to put the water detection paste on the bottom couple of inches on the stick when we would “stick” the tanks at the station every night.
Sticking the tanks was just what we called it - we had these long wood rulers that we would stick into the underground tanks out by the pumps every evening to measure the depth of the gas, and to check for water which would accumulate at the bottom.
Now, ethanol bonded with water is another story - that could well have a lower density than gas and float atop. I come from the old days when gasoline was gasoline and they didn’t put corn squeezings in it.
