Good point. And he knows that he can do the math on that, because, according to him, women aren't good in math.

People like Summers know that it is highly unlikely that they will be criminally prosecuted. What they fear are civil suits from women they were involved with through Epstein. Civil suits require depositions under oath and regardless of the settlement, those depositions and the evidence within them often become public. It is all very embarassing to them an their institutions.

Powerful men cavorting with nameless women on a remote secure island. What possibly could go wrong?

"I think it’s mainly because the British criminal targets (so far) traded government secrets for sex, which is public corruption/bribery etc. The Americans caught in the web (so far) have been former government officials or private persons, so there is not necessarily a crime committed by whatever they told Epstein.

Fair enough. But prior to the release both sides of the aisle were demanding they be released. Now all I hear is silence, and reporting on some elderly woman missing in Tucson.

“I wonder why none of these folks have had charges brought?”

EXACTLY what specific criminal violation has any one of “these folks” committed?

criminal charges can be brought against an individual only when a specific criminal statue has been violated ...

“Epstein files a boon for lawyers.”

From all of the rich and famous named in those files, it looks like Jeffrey was a ticking s..t bomb. Then it was revealed that he was considering a deal. Of course, he’d already been locked up in a notorious Federal prison in NYC, a prison controlled and run by DemonRats. His “suicide” was as inevitable as Vince Foster’s, wih mulitple suspects, none of whom will be really interrogated and all of whom will walk, least he or she also “commits suicide.”

A third Ivy League school, Yale University, on Feb. 11 said it had barred professor David Gelernter from teaching computer science classes pending a review of his contacts with Epstein, which included mentioning a Yale student for a potential project.

I'd ask what sort of project but I'm afraid they might tell me.

So who was the under-age girl he was with?
Epstein and Maxwell sure knew how to corral them.
Waiting for Clinton to go down, but that might never happen. He and Hillary seem to have some preternatural ‘protection’.

Hundreds of thousands of missing children...
There will be a terrifying accounting for this in the end. Hell is forever and the devil is very real.

“For what? What is the crime? To be charged you need evidence. Witnesses. Not just a name in a bunch of files.”

It’s known as getting out of town while the gettin’s still good and before the sheriff comes knockin.

My how the mighty have fallen. Absolutely no one likes or respects Summers anymore. The Right never really liked him as Clinton’s economic hatchet man and now the Epstein connection adds a layer of sleaze on that. The Left never forgave him after he stood up to the Woke mob at Harvard. He went from Treasury Secretary to Harvard president to now being booted out of even his professor job.

Maybe some victims don’t want to go through the process. Can their victims prove anything? There are thousands of underage prostitutes working on dangerous streets every day, nobody talks about it.

Just asking.

If the sex was nonconsensual, that’s a crime.

The victims of that, if any, are likely dead.

The victim can’t testify and the rapist won’t confess.

Depending how a target submitted to blackmail, the target may have committed a crime.

I can’t see the people targeted for blackmail confessing, can you?

So cases that lead to convictions that will withstand appeals before Deep State controlled judges will take some time and a helluva lot of digging.
