For what? What is the crime? To be charged you need evidence. Witnesses. Not just a name in a bunch of files.

In an earlier, more genteel time, a guy like Larry Summers so exposed would have retired to his study with a glass of fine wine and a pistol to do the honorable thing.

I think it’s mainly because the British criminal targets (so far) traded government secrets for sex, which is public corruption/bribery etc.

The Americans caught in the web (so far) have been former government officials or private persons, so there is not necessarily a crime committed by whatever they told Epstein.
