“The watches are licensed merchandise—not directly made or sold by Trump or his organization—but he appears in the promotions and benefits from the branding.”
I’ll get one by using my promised Doge check and Tariff rebate.
Not the classiest presidential action ever, but no big deal either. No one is behind forced to buy one of these things. If you want to own an overpriced wristwatch just because it has Trump’s name on it, then go ahead, knock yourself out. But if you’re a horology snob and are totally unimpressed, then that’s fine too... move along.
I’m told we were never promised those.
I know two people who received a Trump watch as a gift and they love wearing it.
The beauty of capitalism is—if you don’t want it, don’t buy it; get something else you like better. The ugliness of socialism is—if you don’t want it, tough; you have no other choice.
Guaranteed for the life of the watch
Who wears a watch? I haven’t worn one in for over 30 years.
Clocks are everywhere and on everything.
Stay classy.
Bad move.
I’d buy one or two if I really needed them. I have clocks in my computers, on my stove, coffee makers, microwaves, cell phones, in my cars, two small Timex collectible motorcycles, TV’s, local news channels, Fox News/Fox Biz, The Weather Channel, bathrooms, bedrooms, at the bars, in golf carts, restaurants, doctor’s and dentist offices, party stores, at the gas station, in airports,...However, if Trump is giving the SOFTU address 5 years from now, I think I might want one...like never before...at the low low price of $100.

Too ostentatious.
Not just on Fox.
I like the red one.
I wouldn’t wear it for two simple reasons:
(1) Greek descent
(2) Arm hair
Seriously, do you have any idea how physically painful it is to have your wrist hairs continually pulled and torn out by a metallic, hinged wristband, emphasis on “continually”?
Hell to the no. If the wristband isn’t leather, I’m not interested. I’d rather use pocketwatch (and for a couple of years I actually used one, a railroad pocketwatch circa 1901 until a winding part broke).
It’s just plain ugly..... with all the drawbacks you outlined.
Too much like a Rolex.
It’s a copy-watch. Your wrist will turn green.
It’s a Rolex copy-cat watch. Your wrist will turn green.
Figures.
I started wearing one after I retired.
Hey, liberals. Heres a way to protest Trump. Buy yourselves one of these watches and then smash it.
These Chyna Trump watches sold for $499.00. The wholesale cost of each is about 20 bucks, I’d pay 75 bucks for one but not $500. That much will get you a whole lot of high end watch.
Remember...its a free market economy. You want a China made chronograph? They are available for 38 bucks each:
