Whoopi Goldberg's awkward on-air confession about why she's named in the Epstein files

Whoopi Goldberg was forced to make an awkward on-air confession about why her name appears in the Epstein files during Tuesday's episode of The View.

Shortly after reality star Savannah Chrisley was controversially introduced as a guest panelist for the rest of the week, the co-host, 70, announced that her name came up in an email exchange between Jeffrey Epstein and a redacted individual.

The message centered on an attempt to find a private plane for Goldberg to jet to Monaco to attend an event hosted by Julian Lennon's charity, the White Feather Foundation.

As the email appeared on the screen, Goldberg pointedly said: 'Now, in the name of transparency… my name is in the files.'

Reading the message aloud, she continued: 'It says, "Whoopi needs a plane to get to Monaco… Julian Lennon's charity is paying for it. They don't want to charter so they're looking for private owners. Here's the info."

'And they give all the information and they're saying, "Do you want to offer your G2?"'

At this, co-host Sunny Hostin stressed that Epstein declined the offer in a separate message.

'And it looks like they said no thanks,' she pointed out.

You still have to go through customs, but, yes, it’s usually just one guy who looks through your paperwork. Theoretically they can inspect your luggage, but it’s never happened to me.

Pretty weak explanations. Whoops plantations? Julian Lennon didn't want to charter a jet. He wanted a private jet. But she didn't say why.

The request is denied but again she doesn't say why and she doesn't say if she took the charter or if she even went to the event.

Then she asks, "Do you know what it would take for me to get on that plane?" But, again, she doesn't explain. No, Whoopi, we don't know. Why don't you tell us?

Then she says people imply that she and Jeffrey were in some sort of relationship but she denies it by saying she's too old for him. Duh.

The whole episode creates more questions.

She's hiding something but she demands Trump come clean.

“It doesn’t take much for celebs to ask.”

It sounds like your company is approached directly. I wonder if a lot of this stuff is done on the airport website? i.e. Epstein kept a plane (along with a lot of other private owners) at Teterboro. Is it possible that there’s a “bulletin board” website at that airport and the request was simply broadcast?

There’s another video out there that came out before this one where she said she had no reason to borrow a plane because she never goes anywhere but before the show went on hiatus last year, she said she was going to her villa in Italy just like she does every year. She owns a villa in Italy and she only goes there once a year? Uh-huh.

Yeah, this guy specified a “jet you can stand upright in” and had a proper toilet.”

Which was why the charity hit us up. He’s a big guy, so I get it.

I use one of the planes (generally a King Air unless it’s a long flight) once a week and it’s for things like “need to go from BFE Texas to BFE Oklahoma/Colorado/Alaska/Australia.

Trying to that commercial would take days and involve long car rides vs getting in, getting some work done and arriving an hour later.

Oil is not located in convenient places.

There are, yes. But most of it is informal.

We’ve got all the planes running to Houston to Midland and back on rotation for NAPE this week and trying to fill every seat with whomever needs it and other companies are doing the same for us.

It generates a lot of goodwill and is excellent networking.

I’ve only flown private twice in like 20 years. Both times I got the sense that the company that owned the plane was “filling seats” on a flight that just happened to be heading in my direction — and so the invitation was extended. It’s a different experience, that’s for sure.

...private plane... No boarding, no papers, no slobby TSA feeling you up, no standing in line, no mindless questions from the boarder agent, no empty your suitcase so we can root through your underwear, no humiliation routine...

And no mandate to get the Jim Jones Jab, including crossing international borders.

The powerbrokers targeted Andrew Tate because he exposed that truth. "Rules for thee but not for me."

I am guessing Whoopi was invited to be the antidote to a Viagra overdose. Just a guess.

Technically it was still required by a lot of countries for entry, but customs is generally a formality, so there was no one to enforce it and ask for your card.

The nautical distance from New York to London is about 3,045 nautical miles following a great circle route.

Gulfstream G2 Max Range: 2,748 nm. Don’t know if that allows for a reserve, but does Whoopi know how to swim?

Or is a G2 something else Whoopi?
