Senator Rand Paul unveils bill to end nationwide liability protections for vaccine manufacturers

Senator Rand Paul, R-Ky., introduced legislation this week that would eliminate federal liability protections for vaccine manufacturers, which is a legal shield that has been in place for four decades.

The bill, cosponsored by Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, was referred to the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions.

If passed, the bill will make changes to the federal law to abolish the liability shield provided to vaccine manufacturers under the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, which largely protects vaccine manufacturers from product liability lawsuits and requires most injury claims to be directed to a federal compensation program.

According to Paul, the bill would make pharmaceutical companies more accountable by allowing people to sue them if they believe they have been injured by vaccines.

Vaccine safety monitoring data maintained by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that there have been millions of adverse event reports filed.

In the past, a study done in collaboration with the US Department of Health and Human Services found that the nation’s main vaccine adverse event reporting system captures fewer than 1% of adverse events.

good. desperately needed. ‘public health’ and allied big pharma is the front line of oppression, suffering and tyranny in this nation. they need to be sued into oblivion so free market providers can thrive and innovate again.

According to RFK Jr, the average American child now receives somewhere between 69-92 vaccinations before the age of 18

The immediate knock-on effect will be to see that cut drastically.

If vaccine benefit is not clear and/or liability now exists - it means vaccine makers will withdraw because now there is no money in maximizing vax promotion.

Reminds me of the MD friend on the show Maude. Bea Arthur asked if he was going on strike with the others to protest cutting off malpractice insurance during a walkout. Would the MD go on seeing patients or not.

“Well, I’m not going on strike with the others. So I’ll just have to be very careful in my work.”

The companies have been worry free as the patients dropped from vaccine problems and like judges who let dangerous criminals free who then kill people, they were protected and far above it all. No blame.

This will raise costs, probably significantly. I think for once the rest of the world should pay for Americans.

Lawsuits were how this debacle started.

By the 1980s, the patents had long ran out on many of the required immunizations. They were profitable to make, but just barely. The military was finding it difficult to source enough supply. The profits were marginal, but the liability was off scale. So they stopped making them, there was little upside and a whole lot of downside.

That’s how “immunity” and not the medical kind, came to the forefront. Pharmaceutical companies agreed to manufacture the vaccines. They did have a point, I suppose. If you inject several million people with even a sterile saline solution, a couple people will probably die.

first, it’s not ‘people,’ we’re talking about forced vaccination of kids.

signing this act was the biggest mistake the great RR ever made. a lot of kids have been maimed and even killed by these ‘vaccines.’

It shouldn’t. I have travelled the world extensively, drug costs and vaccines are dirt cheap. The only “ casualty” will be reducing the drug makers absurd profits.

My youngest is unvaxxed and only had antibiotics once in ten years

One of the largest strongest and smartest kids (by far) in school and one of the best attention spans (no sugar before age 3 at all) near zero screens until 7-8 and then very limited after that

First food were grass fed bone marrow, organic avocados and salmon roe and very clean diet since.

My big strong handsome son-in-law, head of the sheriff’s department, got one vax, not required by his office, but to fly to Hawaii for vacation.

Four months later, he was dead. Turbo cancer of liver that spread to his kidney. Hospital here is a Mayo affiliate and did all the right things for him.

#13. Rand Haters gonna object?
We have no say on the matter.
Only Senate Republicans do.

If you want the bill to pass,
I suggest you call your Senators.
