I wish I had the time to compare the timeline here to that of the investigation of the Limbergh kidnapping; my suspicion is that the amateurishness was similar.
PBS American Experience: Lindbergh was made in 1990. It’s not on YouTube, but you might find it somewhere or on the PBS website. They cover the kidnapping pretty well.
Lindbergh paid the ransom, but he used gold notes. When FDR outlawed gold, he also called in the gold notes. The case broke when a gold note (by then unusual) was used and traced back to the guy who picked up the ransom money. He claimed to be innocent of killing Lindbergh’s son, but wood in the rafters of his garage matched the wood used for the ladder.

I watched a couple of youtubers find stray gloves near the home this morning - LE never collected them. I am not putting a lot of faith in DNA testing of some glove anyway. Windy rural areas are full of stray gloves; they fall off work trucks all the time.

obviously, you’ve never watched any true crime shows ...
LEOs clear folks all the time, generally based on a combination of polygraphs and iron clad alibis [you know, like a suspect was in prison in another state at the time of the crime, for example ... or in a room with 100 people who all swear the guy never left the room during the time of the murder ... and so on, and so on ... very often, when someone is cleared, they can then be regarded as a valuable witness or provide other valuable information rather than being treated as a suspect.]

I’m with you, this case has taken the focus off of much more important issues, such as, Somalian fraud in MN, including high ranking State officials, complicit in said fraud.
I’m Guthried out, and Epstein weary, don’t care about either.
Let’s get back to prosecuting voter fraud, welfare fraud, and fraudulent politicians.
I’ll believe it after this is solved. Could just be a head fake.
