Newly-released videos show the moments a man ambushed Bellevue police officers with a knife as they were responding to a domestic violence call at a transit center in December.
The video shows the suspect, Mohamed Morray Bangura, 38, talking with officers and then pulling a knife from his jacket pocket and charging the officers.
According to police, Bangura slashed an officer's face and then stabbed him twice in the back as he fell to the ground.
Another officer at the scene shot Bangura three times during the attack.
Bangura survived the shooting and was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
He was released from the hospital and booked into the King County Jail with a bail of $5-million.
Prosecutors have since charged him with assault in the first degree and assault in the second degree.
Officer lured with a 'bogus' 911 call
According to charging documents, Bangura called 911 around 12:30 p.m. on December 12, 2025, and reported that a male and female were arguing at the Bellevue Transit Center at 10850 NE 6th Street.
Bangura didn't identify himself, but told dispatchers the argument was 'escalating' and told the call taker to send officers, a police report states.
Two Bellevue police officers responded to the scene, arriving within six minutes. They contacted Bangura, who was wearing a beanie and a surgical mask on his chin, according to the report.
Bangura, the report states, then told the officers that another Bellevue police officer "tried to put a false case on me".
"Are you the one who called about the DV (domestic violence) that happened right now? Are people arguing?" the officer states.
"Yes," Bangura responded.
"You said to dispatch you saw two people arguing, let's get to that, and then we can get to the second part," a second officer tells Bangura.
"That was happening over ..." Bangura replies. He then pauses and produces the knife from his jacket pocket, the video shows.
The officer directly in front of Bangura quickly jumps out of the way of the knife, at which point the video shows Bangura turn toward another officer and slash him across the face.
The officer who was slashed then falls to the ground, and the video shows Bangura stabbing him in the back.
Detectives recovered the knife from the scene, which is described as a kitchen knife with a fixed steel blade.
The arrest report includes two photographs of the knife.

"The deliberateness of this attack, having lured police officers to his location by making a bogus 911 call reporting a domestic violence incident, demonstrated the lengths (Bangura) will go to injure others and extreme danger this defendant poses to the community," prosecutors wrote in charging documents.
According to charging documents, the injured officer was taken to Harborview Medical Center with a significant laceration to the face.
Previous arrest by Bellevue police
Investigators determined that Bangura had prior interactions with Bellevue police, including an arrest in September 2025.
A security guard at a church near the downtown transit center called police when Bangura got into an argument with a security guard, according to court records.
A Bellevue police report states Bangura threatened to kill the guard if he did not turn his flashlight off.
An officer advised Bangura he would be charged with harassment, but he was released and allowed to leave the area on his own.
On December 11, Bangura called the police, wanting to file a complaint against an officer.
A Sergeant called Bangura twice, but was unable to reach him, according to the report.
Court records show Bangura is currently awaiting a competency evaluation.
Both counts of assault for the December 12 attack carry a deadly weapons enhancement, which would carry a three-year mandatory minimum term in prison if convicted on both counts.

Now why do you suppose that is? No mugshot?
Will this posted story stay up, or is the Admin Mod (Furry, is that you?) only willing to let white stabbers’ stories stay up?

Mohammed looks like a wild animal.
Have they found a motive yet?
Not that I’m aware. He may be nuts, he may be a jihadi, he may be criminally violent.
As "peaceful" as his namesake
Groan...AI used to make that clickbait preview
An amazing culture they bring to us.
The guy’s mugshot must be available, and this is a sizeable local story. I think the new folks are being politically correct and choosing not to publish it. So some half baked YouTuber found that shot.
More range time needed, although it's possible he was trying to avoid hitting his partner.
IMO, motive should not matter.
What he did matters.
Prosecute on the crime, not the motive.
Three wasn't enough, he should have emptied the magazine into this piece of poo.
Loyal Muslims (those that strictly follow the Quran) are taught to be animals. Therefore, no surprises that the rage plays itself out by killing.
And acts like one too.
Obviously.
“which would carry a three-year mandatory minimum term in prison if convicted on both counts.”
He ambushes cops and tries to kill one, but he may be out in 3 years? How about 30 years? Or 50?
3 shots? Makes me rethink 357 magnum for self protection.
Too bad the perp survived. Given it occurred on the liberal leftist west side of the state, the perp will get a slap on the wrist if at all.
Their motive is to kill as many Whites as possible before the Whites acknowledge and act upon the fact that there is a race war going on.
