We don’t know how much has really been offered. We only know what LE is telling us, which is probably not much, and shouldn’t be.

Because kidnapping is a federal crime-so the FBI usually does get involved...

Kidnapping, I think, is always federal?

“would they really cover it up if it was an illegal alien?”

It makes sense that they would, though. Nancy is an anti-MAGA activist, as is Savannah. If an illegal is involved, that would damage their narrative that Trump is a racist Nazi.

Maybe it’s a case of them hating Trump more than they love their mother. It happens.

Word now is that there has been a glove and DNA found in the house.

Was there a tiny panther embroidered on the glove?

“Kidnapping, I think, is always federal?”

I’ve heard that it becomes federal if a state line is crossed. IDK if true.

No, kidnapping is not always a federal crimes. There are numerous criteria for it being federal, but otherwise it isn’t. A google search will elucidate.

I also thought kidnapping was a federal crime. The following gives some information as to what changes a state crime to a federal one when it comes to kidnapping:

Beyond interstate travel and specific victim or location criteria, other circumstances can make a kidnapping a federal offense. Kidnapping to collect ransom for a federal crime, or as part of a broader federal racketeering enterprise, can lead to federal charges. The use of interstate communication tools, such as phones or the internet, to facilitate the crime can also establish federal jurisdiction. These scenarios often involve a connection to other federal criminal activities, which allows federal authorities to intervene. For instance, if a kidnapping is linked to terrorism, it would be prosecuted at the federal level. The involvement of ransom money, including its receipt, possession, or disposal, can also lead to separate federal charges.

Yes I agree. It’s been shady from the beginning. Also, the sheriff’s office delayed informing the FBI and hindered them from the beginning. All around, shady.

One of the gloves was recovered in her home. That was sent to the private lab.

If there is suspicion that the kidnapping crosses into multiple States, or foreign nations, it becomes a federal crime, thus involving the FBI.

To state the obvious, proximity alone brings Mexico into the picture, compounded by the surveillance images, and the very nature of the crime, kidnapping being a fave among border gangsters.
