Aside from Damon, who leads the proceedings as King Odysseus, The Odyssey boasts a star-studded supporting cast. The additional lineup features Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, Benny Safdie, John Leguizamo, Himesh Patel, Mia Goth, and Travis Scott, among others.

Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated fantasy epic, The Odyssey, may be months away from its theatrical release date, but the movie’s first review has already come out. In a recent discussion, Jonathan Nolan, the brother and frequent collaborator of The Dark Knight director, provided his assessment of the upcoming Matt Damon-led drama, stating that it was a “tremendous” watch for him.

Jonathan Nolan says The Odyssey ‘is a spectacular film' During a recent sit-down, the younger Nolan sibling shared his review of The Odyssey, which is still five months away from hitting the theaters.

“I’m not working on The Odyssey,” Jonathan Nolan noted to CinemaBlend, before adding, “I have seen The Odyssey. It’s tremendous. It’s an incredible achievement. I was fascinated by The Iliad and The Odyssey when I was younger, and I had some fun conversations with Chris about where he’s taking it. It’s a spectacular film.”

When asked if he had watched the entirety of his brother’s forthcoming directorial feature, the Westworld co-creator replied, “I’m not sure I’m supposed to say that, but yes, it’s tremendous.”

Directed by Christopher Nolan, The Odyssey serves as an adaptation of Homer’s ancient Greek epic of the same name and follows the journey of the Greek king Odysseus (Matt Damon). After the conclusion of the Trojan War, he decides to return to his wife and son in his kingdom of Ithaca. However, in order to reunite with his family, Odysseus must face a host of mythical threats and triumph over every hurdle in his perilous journey.

They won’t stop even if they cannot sell tickets. Hollywood has become a money-laundering scheme for the fraudsters in the Democrat party.

Jon Bernthal seems to show up in everything lately. He’s sort of the 21st Century Warren Oates.

I’ll skip it. They mongreled it up again. If you look at the casting of Helen, NOBODY would go to war for that.

The black chick as Helen isn’t a casting dud? That’s the BIGGEST casting dud.

The Black woman is the ultimate example of Kissing Black Ass

To destroy one of the greatest literary works with the Black Plague is movie making greatness.

I first read the Odyssey back in High school in 1961. Loved it.
Have read it several times. Have just finished THE ILIAD and re-reading THE ODYSSEY again.
I read much about beautiful White armed fair haired HELEN.

I have read on the Internet she will have a very VERY dark tan and kinky hair.

Yes, there’s a major rumor circulating that Lupita Nyong’o is cast as Helen of Troy (also known as Helen) in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film adaptation of Homer’s The Odyssey (set for release in 2026).This stems from leaks and speculation rather than an official announcement from Nolan, the studio, or Nyong’o herself. She’s confirmed to be part of the ensemble cast

Whoopi Goldberg even addressed the controversy on The View, slamming the racist undertones in some reactions (including Musk’s) and defending Nyong’o’s suitability.
