In this series of toons that you feature from time to time, the person with the conservative economic opinion is always depicted as an Asian woman wearing a cheongsam, the classical Chinese dress. Wondering why that is, and if you know anything about the cartoonist or his/her rationale?

I neither know who the cartoonist is nor at what site their work resides. Most of these, I’ve gotten from someone else who posts about 50 toons (that may include a couple of these) at Flopping Aces in their “Sunday Funnies” thread. I also may have gotten a few of these in collections that are sent to me.

Before I posted the Valentine one, I did a cursory Google check to verify that it was true.
