New images in the search for Nancy Guthrie:
Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors - including the removal of recording devices. The video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems.
Working with our partners - as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie's front door the morning of her disappearance.

The man who says he was detained by Pima County Sheriff’s Deputies for “kidnapping” Nancy Guthrie has now been released.
He only wants to be identified as Carlos. He says he was held at the scene of the initial traffic stop for hours.

First they got Charles Lindberg’s baby. Now they’re going after Guthrie’s grandma, or whatever. Can’t they kidnap someone in the prime of life instead?
Nancy Guthrie probably did not have any servants living with her because she is a very independent woman. She is reputed to be of sound mind. She has plenty of money to have people do everything she needs without having someone live with her.
Using Uber just factors into her wanting to be independent. It still strikes me as very strange to take an Uber to go 4 miles to her own daughter‘s house instead of being driven by her daughter or SIL.

Select Nest devices have up to a hour video storage if the internet goes out. We don’t know what model of Nest doorbell was in use , but I suspect it was one with onboard storage. That was a fairly long video clip to be held in a video buffer chip..
It does seem like a light in his mouth. Someone mentioned it could be a bite light. As someone who owns a tons of flashlights and headlamps I’ve never come across a bite light before. Surprised this isn’t a much bigger clue and to identify what this light was.

I’m guessing that police and other people have passed through that front door several hundreds of times if not thousands since the mother went missing and the dried up flowers/lantana is STILL there?
Would seems strange for a gardener to come with a mask and want to help her plants at 1:30-2am in the morning when it’s pitch black outside.
Wonder if they can go back further on the camera and see if anyone was seen prior to the kidnapping night.

Where did the moth flashlight / bite light go?
It is possible if the device has storage. I doubt the authorities would release any routine activity to the public like a yard guy wanting to get paid.
I watched a video that proved some smart TVs do have hidden cameras in them and the reporter showed how it was working and basically looked like a full view of the room the tv was in. He did some computer hack and was able to view whatever was in view in front of the tv and that with the IP address, this could be viewed anywhere in the world.
