I theorize abortion doctors don’t feel pain.

Has anyone tried to see if this doctor does, indeed, feel pain?

He might be one of those rare people who do not.

(This is not an endorsement for violence, but merely a question regarding the person)

Or not.

Hmm, familiar ring to it. When else did they say that sort of thing?

Oh yeah, in the 1800s they said the slaves don’t feel pain when they are beaten.

“The belief that enslaved people, particularly Black individuals, felt less pain than white people emerged during the era of slavery in the United States, particularly in the 18th and 19th centuries. This notion was used to justify the brutal treatment of enslaved individuals, including whipping and other forms of punishment, by dehumanizing them and suggesting they were less sensitive to pain”.

3 Planned Parenthood Great Rivers and Great Rivers Action representative Margot Riphagen testified that she enjoyed working for an organization that “pushed the envelope” on challenging abortion restrictions. I wonder if Margot has any children?

Planned Parenthood experts who claimed that one-year-olds likely can’t feel pain.

Now show me a parent of a baby anywhere in the world who believes that. Wow, they are completely divorced from reality, on the same level as the racist pro-slavery apologists in the 19th century who ignored evidence all around them and claimed blacks and whites could not interbreed.

Dr. Steven Ralston, a Maternal Fetal Medicine Doctor testified that infants and toddlers likely do not feel pain because they are not “conscious beings.” Dr. Ralston also testified that viability is only known if the baby lives or dies, specifically “if it dies, then it was not a viable pregnancy.”

WTF? Toddlers - which are classified as children aged 1 to 3 years old - are not conscious beings???? And a doctor only can tell if a pregnancy is viable if the baby lives? Are we living in Roman times? There is no way to determine if the baby is viable in the womb?

It was common thought in the medical field that infants do not feel pain as their brain is not fully developed. This thinking would continue up to the early to mid 80s. During this time many infants would have surgery with no anesthetic, (although most surgeons abandoned this thinking much earlier) only the hypnotic and paralytic drug would be used. The thought was that detecting noxious stimuli (pulling away from pain, crying etc) is different than feeling pain. An example of this would be that an animal like a lobster would learn to avoid something that gives an electric shock, but does not change its behavior when a limb is removed.
