I sort of feel the same vibe with college sports now that they can all pack up any old time they want, go to where there’s more money. It’s not really about loyalty or traditions. It’s all money, just like the pros, and I don’t like it.
Yeah, I looked at the posting history after I begged the zot. A few times he actually had some content and he wasn’t as violent as here, although almost every post had some kind of ad hominem about Trump or Trump’s supporters. Maybe he was just drunk today, I don’t know. But the violence today felt like Antifa, and for his good and ours it’s better if he finds a place that won’t trigger him like that.
The guy had 19.8 billion streams last year across various platforms.
That’s 6,200 streams a second. Every second. For a year.
Taylor swift was second, but several billion.
The country/western streamers were miniscule compared to them.
So, the guy is pretty popular. If you can come up with another metric, I am open to hearing about it.
I didn’t watch it because I don’t like Spanish music.
But when I switched to the other one, the woman singer was so auto tuned that I couldn’t understand a word from her either. And when Kid Rock came on, during his most famous song….they overdubbed it with religious talk. Nope. No thanks. I went to church yesterday, I did not need a booster shot during the Super Bowl.
The whole thing lasted twenty minutes. I barely had time to visit the bathroom, wash my hands and grab another drink before the game started up.
And that was difficult to watch on its own. After the Celtics got trounced in the afternoon it turned out to be a horrible day for Boston sports fans.
All in all…the only good thing about the afternoon was the food my wife brought home.

I guess I’m a food snob. I cook/make 99.9% of what I eat. Made a Genoa, ham, and pepperoni for lunch. Brooklyn style. With provolone and jalapeños. So it was as Tex-Brook sangwich.
I had a friend like that. He used to be Conservative-ish but definitely had RINO tendencies. But after Trump came down the Golden Escalator he developed quite the potty-mouth and retreated into his little Dispatch/Jonah Goldberg echo chamber.
